With political leadership like that, why would any police officer risk anything at all? Just walk away and see if Portland residents have any point where they find this intolerable. If not, let it all burn and if people get in trouble, oh well. No one in their right mind should be in any riot area at this point.

I’ve watched live streams of Portland most days and it has turned into a game. Rioters get in the cops faces, cops run them off. Rinse and repeat. One of the chants the rioters/protesters often use is about doing this every night. As time goes on the noise and squalor moves into residential areas and I am sure converts Slow Joe lovers to law and order man, Trump.

It’s all fun and games until somebody gets hurt.
