I am extremely concerned for Texas after my recent experience trying to get my Drivers License in TX so that I can vote here after moving from TN.
I had to wait until the DMV reopened after COVID-19 to get my license. When I went, I had to have copies of all marriage licenses and divorce decrees to show name changes even though I had shown these before in this state previously as they happened. I had lost these items in a fire, but jumped through all the hoops to get the copies, including paying $20 to the State of Texas for a Verification Letter. Marriages are not recorded with the state. They are recorded with the counties I soon discovered. I thought that $20 was wasted.
I soon received a FedEx copy of my Verification Letter that had all the info they requested. My birthdate, marriage date, names of my husband and myself, and also my maiden name. I was rather shocked to receive this as my marriage license does not have my maiden name on it as I was previously married. Since I had received a copy of that marriage license, I double-checked. Nope. Nothing about my maiden name on it.
Two days later I received PRE-FILLED-OUT Voter registration cards from the Texas Democratic Committee aka “Texas Democrats”. They had all the information given to the the Bureau of Vital Statistics. Why were they given access or why was my personal info given to them?
Today I returned to the DMV to get my Drivers License with my paperwork in hand. I had to have an appointment and all appointments are booked for 6 months in advanced and those 6 months are full. I could not even make an appointment all due to COVID-19. I asked the DMV people how I was supposed to vote as an ID is required. “Do I have to return to TN to vote this year?”
The response I received was stunning. “Due to Covid, the polls will be allowing and accepting all voters this year due to Covid and the problems it has caused. Just show up and your vote will count.”
So I guess that means that anyone will be allowed to vote, give any name, and vote as many times as they wish? I pray my DMV is misinformed and just told me this to get me out of their door.
I am sickened and stunned by this. I have written Gov Abbott and would like to know who else I need to notify. Also, if anyone knows of the truth to this situation, I would dearly love to hear it.
Just like China and the democrats planned it.
I’m wondering if that will happen in Ohio, too.
According to the BMV website, “If your license, ID card, or vehicle registration (including plates and stickers) expired on or after March 9, 2020, your expiration date has been automatically extended until 90 days after Ohio’s state of emergency ends or December 1, 2020, whichever comes first.”
I wouldn’t put it past DeWine.
What details of personal information were pre-filled? Please respond.
Identity information should have never been supplied to anyone other than another state agency.
I work TX elections. The DMV offices are utilized by Harris County for purposes of identification. The law requires a photo ID. Make sure you are registered to vote with the county clerk and any other papers that DMV might have given you to show you are waiting to receive your TX ID. Sometimes voters have to bring the photo copy of their license until the hard copy arrives.Should you encounter problems when you VOTE IN PERSON the election judge can track down your info or ascertain your voting eligibility. You have tons of days in Oct to vote early starting Oct 13.
The Harris County Judge & the Democrat County Clerk have approved a big pot of money for use in this election.That is probably what you are seeing when you get pre-filled voter forms in the mail. The property taxes continue to rise in TX and this is what they use the money for....
Better go to the local Republican office for your county and run thru the Q&A.
Did you get the “card” from the Secretary of State?
Also, what Texas county are you in? Is it run by the Democrats?
Lastly, you should send your concerns to the Texas Secretary of State instead of the Governor’s office. The SoC is the agency which controls elections.
What if I want to buy beer or cigarettes?

The DMV gave me nothing. They said I had to have an appointment and they are currently not accepting appointments because all appts for the next 6 months are taken.
I received the “card” from “Texas Democrats”/ State Democratic Executive Committee.
Parker. It has been red, but Democrats are flocking into this county by the tons. Hopefully not enough to turn it blue yet; although Aledo elected a Dem for mayor.

Exactly. That is what has me in a panic. I envision illegals by the bus loads being allowed to vote without ID if what the folks at the DMV said is true. I am praying it is not. Contacting the SOS to hopefully find out the truth of the situation. Also hope the God’s office replies.

Get registered and take TN ID with you as photo ID or heck even a passport. If there are problems election judge will take care of the situation. Due to last midterm results the Democrats are in charge of Harris County elections.
Oh the Democrats are going to vote by the wheelbarrow-full this November!
