America's pandemic-induced love affair with pizza shows no signs of slowing down.
That's a huge relief for Papa John's, helping to speed up its turnaround plans. The pizza chain said Tuesday that its North American sales rose 24% over the past four weeks. Internationally, sales were also strong, jumping 23% for the period.
Pizza has thrived as other restaurants struggle mightily during the coronavirus pandemic. Pizza has been synonymous with delivery for decades, which is crucial when people are afraid or barred from eating inside restaurants. And it's cheap -- helpful during the worst recession since the Great Depression.
"Papa John's numbers demonstrate that value and convenience is likely to be a powerful combination even a post-pandemic environment," Morningstar analyst R.J. Hottovy told CNN Business.

IDK. I had to go look at one of the boxes in the freezer. It says "Hand Tossed", and in a (much) smaller font, "style crust".
Oh well.....
There are a number of regional chains that are pretty good. I used to deliver for LaRosas here in the Cincinnati area. They are as popular or more popular than the national chains in the Tri-State.
Cassanos is pretty good in the Dayton/Miami Valley just to the North of here.
A few years back the family an I were in Dearborn, Michigan to visit The Henry Ford Museum and had a Detroit style pizza from Buddys that was good.
Thats a good idea. I even have a bread maker and it can make pizza dough. Lazy!!!!!!

Apparently it's being directed to pizzerias and restaurants.
I occasionally make my own mini pizzas.
Take an english muffin, toast it a bit. Put on some sauce, some mozzarella, plus whatever else, stick it in toaster oven on some aluminum foil until the cheese melts.
Quick and easy.
There's way better pizza out there. New York City for instance.
