We had an OBGYN do the same with a young lady volunteer he was enamored with. Let her make the first incision on a C section.
Fired him summarily.
He was almost charged with aggravated assault.
Cant believe a CEO wouldnt know better.

Nursing students in surgical rotation are often invited to participate in a procedure under the supervision and direction of a surgeon. Happens more than you care to know or want to admit. Someone had it in for this guy.

Im a mechanic, people ask me to participate in surgery all the time, NOT.
I have drill a hammer and a punch though, so Im set when they finally do ask me.
