Its just the flu, bro.
Apparently there is a blood plasma treatment that involves taking antibody rich blood plasma from recovered CV patients and putting it in sick patients. Trump authorizes its use as of tonight, I believe. Since Trump authorizes it you can be sure that the media will give it the same treatment that it gave hydroxychloriquine. They will repeatedly say how dangerous it is no matter how safe it is. Blood transfusions and blood plasma dont sound dangerous to me. People get them all the time. That idiot on CNN, Joe Scarborough will probably have the best hyperbole in describing this treatments dangers.
I really dont care that much about treatments as I think healthy living saves many more lives than treatments. But I think some GOP politicians need some sort of treatment/placebo so that they can calm the panicky fearmoms and relax the lockdown. The Dems will just pick up on the media lies about the dangers of CV.
Great advice!
Kozak is a fellow FReeper after all. 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
Maybe he has, and then he will get so sick just so he can tell everyone it is so much worse than the flu, bro. Just like every day.
Well...there goes a tasty breakfast burrito I WAS enjoying shot to hell.
Great twist on a funny Churchill quote.
Well played😷
I can definitely relate to that! I started running in my early 50s, primarily because my friend from high school was doing it. When visiting him, we went up to the high school track and I couldn't even make it 1/4 of the way around.
Fast forward to about 3 years later, I was running half marathons under 2 hours and really enjoying the competition of the running sports.
Then my cartilage, or lack thereof, told me in no uncertain terms that running was no longer a good idea.
It's a pity - I had lost around 50 pounds with running and eating better, 2/3 of which I've gained back since.
Anyway, yeah, always good to be physically active if you can.
thank you. I am looking at a peleton. It appears my running days are over
Was worried about you!
His dial-up modem must have failed today.
Umm ... the “pus” word? Gross, huh?
Had a painful boil lanced when I was a young boy...’pus’ doesn’t bring back fond memories. On the other hand; kudos for the accurate history lesson re: one of the Founders.
Are even the flubros part of the conspiracy? Sweden’s plan seems to have worked to the point that worldometers doesn’t show their stats anymore. Trump won’t talk about what Sweden did. And 50+ posts in and no one here mentions their success either?
I meant another for his count +1, not a thumbs up.
I started a gym membership last February (with the mask rule, I haven’t been there in over a month and may just terminate it).
Anyway, they have an interactive cycle that, as you ride, has a screen that simulates you riding over a course with hills and such. Several courses are available, and it’s really nice.
I think the Peloton has something similar, but I’m not sure. I suspect that the industrial grade bikes at the gym are very expensive. But having that scenic ride feature, along with adjustable gearing and resistance (plus data for the ride), really makes it more enjoyable.
I think you left out disgruntled and discombobulated...and how about disinterest? displaced or displacement...disinclined...ooooh, disparagement...and just for fun,, at one time the longest word in Webster’s dictionary - antiDISestablishmentarianism. Now displaced by some medical or scientific term...
Guess I better quit before it all dissipates...
One thing you definitely AREN'T is lazy! Your posts have always indicated the exact opposite. :-) And as for size, there's just "overweight", and there's "morbidly obese". Which I seriously doubt you are. JMHO :-)
All posts past #48 are “post-putz posts”.
I had an idea years ago like that. Starts with a girl running in front of you. As you go along she starts shedding clothes till she's naked. And the last 1/4 mile she turns around and runs backwards.
I bet the girl in your vision was attractive, and not the kind I used to see walking around topless at the community festivals of late.
