Ive mostly switched to Brave after using Firefox for years.
All downhill since Mozilla forced Brendan Eich out. I droped FireFox about then and now use Brendon’s “Brave” browser.
Interesting read. Besides Chrome, who are the other emerging competitors? Is Microsofts Edge browser actually in the race? Ive been using FF for over a decade and have it set just the way I like it. Not sure I like the idea of a web without them.
I’m still using Firefox and don’t plan to switch. Of course I’m also using Windows 7 and don’t plan to switch. Resistance maybe futile but screw Google.
CCleaner has it’s own browser. No Ads. I’m using it more and more.
Actually, I do like Opera, but given they were sold to the Chinese makes me leery about using it full-time. I do use Opera on occasion when Firefox will bark about a webpage and not display it. I'm not talking about security warnings. Firefox just comes up with a blank webpage or section of a webpage.
I use Thunderbird email from Mozilla. I like Thunderbird features like filtering, folder set-up, rules for email distribution to folders, and its cost - $0. Are there other email managers available comparable to Thunderbird?

So sad. Penalize free speech of a company executive and then people walk away.
they could’ve had a fast, light-weight, super-secure browser with built in PGP encryption....but “leadership” decided to monetize it and most of our browsing habits and thoughts-like all the other tech “giants
I just loaded Firefox on my iPhone because Safari would not keep me logged in on FreeRepublic. It works flawlessly. I also run it on my office pc.
Mozilla and Firefox lost me when they ditched their well-regarded CEO because he donated to the anti-gay marriage campaign in California. In spite of some advantages, but I do not want to be irritated every time I use Mozilla or Firefox.
Get woke, go broke. They shouldn’t have fired Brandon Eich.
Ive been using Firefox for a decade. Ill give Brave a try. Im a bit concerned about the PITA of setting up all my bookmarks and settings on a new browser though.
I know a lot of Conservatives dumped it after they fired their CEO for contributing to an anti-Gay Marriage amendment drive in California.
Personally I got sick of the constant alerts over problems and incompatibilities with plug-ins.

I also use Chrome and Brave and Safari and Edge for various things where they work better than Firefox, but FF is my default.
I hope Mozilla manages to keep rolling -- moving off Firefox and Thunderbird as my defaults would be really annoying.
Firefox shot itself in the head when they changed to a model of near-daily updates. Sure, they keep the bleeding edge folks happy, but for mainstream users it’s too big of a hassle having to dismiss the popup every time the browser is used.
When I open a browser, I want to use the browser. Not wait for a download and installation.
Firefox’s decline started when they started their rapid release. Then they changed their coding to ruin many add-ons/extensions.
That was around version 47 or so.
