I think a lot of white suburban women ... formerly called 'soccer moms' ... are getting sucked into the whole BLM virtue signalling thing and at least some will switch from Trump to once again prove they are not racists.

I personally don't think so. They see the riots and schools unopened. They want their kids in school so that they can go to work or have some peace and alone time in the house.

You're in Germany, where schools are open.

“Except the GOP wants Trump to lose.”

Oh... Yes; there is that.

If the Electoral College can’t certify the election by Dec 14, it goes to the House of Representatives, with each state getting one vote.

How the Media Could Get the Election Story Wrong
We may not know the results for days, and maybe weeks. So it’s time to rethink “election night.”

(snip)

But conveniently, a group of former top government officials called the Transition Integrity Project actually gamed four possible scenarios, including one that doesn’t look that different from 2016: a big popular win for Mr. Biden, and a narrow electoral defeat, presumably reached after weeks of counting the votes in Pennsylvania. For their war game, they cast John Podesta, who was Hillary Clinton’s campaign chairman, in the role of Mr. Biden. They expected him, when the votes came in, to concede, just as Mrs. Clinton had.

But Mr. Podesta, playing Mr. Biden, shocked the organizers by saying he felt his party wouldn’t let him concede. Alleging voter suppression, he persuaded the governors of Wisconsin and Michigan to send pro-Biden electors to the Electoral College.

In that scenario, California, Oregon, and Washington then threatened to secede from the United States if Mr. Trump took office as planned. The House named Mr. Biden president; the Senate and White House stuck with Mr. Trump. At that point in the scenario, the nation stopped looking to the media for cues, and waited to see what the military would do.

July 31, 2020

Earlier this summer, 67 former government officials and academic students of government gathered over four sessions of the nonpartisan Transition Integrity Project to analyze those questions. They included Michael Steele, a former chair of the Republican National Committee; John Podesta, the former White House chief of staff who chaired Hillary Clinton’s 2016 campaign; former Republican members of Congress; and a host of former elected officials, government staffers, consultants, and even journalists.

Wiki:

Transition Integrity Project

The Transition Integrity Project (TIP) is a bipartisan group of political operatives, academics and former government officials formed in 2019 out of concerns around possible manipulation and disruption of the 2020 United States presidential election and transition.[1][2][3][4]

Members of the group include Rosa Brooks, a professor of constitutional and international law and national security at the Georgetown University Law Center; Michael Steele, a former chair of the Republican National Committee; John Podesta, former White House Chief of Staff to former President of the United States Bill Clinton; and journalist David Frum.[5]

I'm not in Germany, I'm in New Jersey and they say the schools will open with people going two days a week, half time and there is no part of me that believes they'll open at all once the teachers unions get done with our dictator governor.

Women around here seem to blame meanie Trump for it all. Even my wife, who is conservative and will never vote Biden, has said Trump mucked it all up and should have blah blah blah. What? Locked down the USA in January? Yup. Pure emotion. But he's sort of lost her because she thinks he killed everyone by not declaring himself a dictator.

“Michelle O wants NOTHING to do with DC...”

Right - and she has another huge reason not to join the ticket: she knows they would probably lose to Trump, and that would be a major humiliation for both Obamas.

Right now, she and Barack enjoy the life-long lofty titles of President and First Lady. Bill and Hillary Clinton once enjoyed that high social status too, until Hillary had to go and screwed it up - now she’ll be remembered as “Crooked Hilary”, who lost to Donald Trump - and Bill will always be remembered merely as Hillary’s husband, the rapist loser that didn’t get to return the the White House as the “First Gentleman”.

Why would the Obamas give up their high social status and lofty titles, and risk a Clintonesque fall from grace?

Well if you are in Jersey, already a lost electoral cause. Trump doesn't need Jersey.

As for those Jersey 'Soccer moms", you talk about those "Karen's", they can vote anyway you want.

In Texas even the local media says that about 70 to 80 percent of mothers want the schools open.

Just don't move here and bring your liberal values with you.

Well, if theres no winner because of hosed up ballot counting, there’s no Congress either and Pelosi is out on 3 Jan 2021

I believe then the Senate chooses a President or it will be the Senate President Pro Tempore, Charles Grassley. Who is not up for reelection,

There is no law that we have to have a Congress but by LAW there must be a President

You would have to assume that the dems could claim the Pres election results as valid and claim that Congressional election results ( like Pelosi) are all valid... Houston, we have a problem. And it must be sorted by 6 Jan 2021 or the existing Senate Pres Pro Tempore decides.
By law the US must have a President. But not a Speaker of the House.

How does Grassley- Pompeo sound to you?

Well keep our communist Austin / Houston values out of my very conservative home, then. If we’re accusing people of being something they aren’t because of other people who live in their state.

“WHAT HAPPENS IF THERE’S NO CLEAR WINNER?”

Then the bank-insurance cartel will keep taking executive action, or scheme back the mandate.

How does Grassley- Pompeo sound to you?

If the congressional elections are also invalid then come January 2nd the Senate Majority leader is Chuck Schumer, and he'll be the one deciding President Pro Temp of the Senate is. I suspect it won't be Grassley.
