As COVID-19 cases surpass five million in the U.S. - and deaths exceed 162K, according to Johns Hopkins University & Medicine - tens of thousands of motorcyclists rode into South Dakota for the annual Sturgis Motorcycle Rally - most of which were unmasked and not following social distancing guidelines.
No, we didnt take any precautions, Rally attendee Jim Busch told the New York Times, adding that he thinks the coronavirus pandemic, which he refers to as a situation, is manufactured. Theres ulterior motives behind this, so were not concerned.
The Sturgis Motorcycle Rally is a 10-day event that is estimated to attract about 250,000 attendees this year. While this number is half of last years attendance, its still a shockingly large event amid a global pandemic - and, according to the Times, among the countrys largest public gatherings since the start of the pandemic in the U.S.
Photos and videos from the event show a sea of largely unmasked crowds, many wearing Trump 2020 gear and shirts that read Screw Covid I went to Sturgis.
There was also a larger-than-life float dedicated to Trump.

Did antifa show up?
No masks! The horror!
—just call it the “Sturgis Bike Protest”—all will be well—
Sounds like a midnight barbecue in Philadelphia. I hope nobody is shot and all parties have a very nice time.
They know better.
A Sturgis BLM rally.
"Well one thing you bikers, there will be a lot of motorcycles for sale here shortly when so many get covid."
"In a month or so you may see a lot of great deals on some nice used Harleys."
Comments by the usual liberal posters that are terrified (I assume because they were told so) by the Chinese virus. Thay call me a racisss because I always refer to where the virus came from.
Let me get this straight, only liberals are scared of a highly contagious disease that kills people over 70 pretty completely. Did I get that right?
If they had, I can just about guaran-damn-tee you that they'd very soon be sent back to Mommy with their tails between their scrawny legs.
Just the thought of antifa trying to crash that party makes me laugh. Nice to see Sturgis standing tall during such destructive times.
They are outlaw bikers!
No masks!
Maybe those are Chinese posters working on their social credit score.
Next round. Two weeks. Widely spread in tim to delay school again.
I suppose a mask might be handy if you do not have a beard and mustache to keep the bugs off of your teeth.
Im a veteran of a dozen or better Sturgis Rallies. Very rarely is there any violence of any kind. Too much to do, and too many old friends to catch up with.
Hill climbs, drag races, parties, concerts, sightseeing. Generally a great time is had by all.
I was promised antifa and pay per view,,,,,
Cops filmed in Sturgis one year, there was more action when they filmed Mardi Gras.
I have seen groups of riders heading east all week on I-84. Hope they have a great time!
Hopefully there aren’t evil ‘servants’ going around planting the bug in buildings, which I suspect could have been happening at other venues, to ‘further the commie cause’.
