One of the "official" songs of ANTIFA and BLM left, and yet they are bent on destroying.
You hippies with your damn rock n roll music and your long hair and your mary joo wana ruined this fine country!!
:)
I used to fall asleep to Guns N Roses but I’m 52 now and I Fall asleep to early Beatles.
*Groan”
Well played. :)
Absolutely worst REM song.
LOL!
“Absolutely worst REM song”
Agreed. One of the most nauseous songs ever written.
From one of the most nauseous bands ever. I dive for the dial whenever I hear their whiny singer’s voice. What makes Michal Stipe, their singer, even more nauseous is that he was an epic BDS sufferer and is, of course, a current TDS sufferer.
Heh, lived on early Metallica and Megadeth, nowadays I prefer Charlie Daniels and Enya (yeah, I have varied listening tastes).
Is that you in the spotlight...and did you lose something?
LOL...funny meme.

THE Most was We Built this City by Starship
That’s your problem.
Beatles are the most overrated band in history.
I know. I have a neighbor that plays them incessantly.
On loudspeakers. /hurl
One of the allures of the left is utopian thinking. Woodstock. Age of Aquarius. John Lennon’s Imagine. That if we just allowed it, there would be an end to work and simultaneously abundance, there would be no violence, death, disease (especially no social disease), suffering, pain, remorse, etc., etc. Life would be one continuous party.
This goes against one of the fundamental doctrines of traditional Christian teaching, that we are fallen creatures; and, so, work - which should be joyful - is difficult, there are difficulties in childbirth and marriage, and, more so, there is death.
A generation ago, many people could be honestly confused about this. But, there is now a separation of the wheat and the chaff. There is no middle ground. You are either a god-damned atheist socialist, or you accept that we are fallen and must put our trust in God’s mercy. The other side is powerful and will, from time to time, win. But our victory is already won. We need not fear any man, nor prince, nor potentate.
Regarding the false Christians, many who cry Lord, Lord will not enter the kingdom of heaven.
Regarding R.E.M., lead singer/songwriter Michael Stipe, and guest singer on this song Kate Pierson of the B-52s, all very gifted artists.
This song always reminds me of Michigan Governor Whitmer’s shiny face. BTW, her doppelganger is Bruce Jenner.
And Kate Pierson, of B-52 fame (the redhead in the video), is married to a woman.
Not much arguing that, and arguably one of the worst songs ever.

Haha! That one was up there.
Dennis Leary said it best:
And I also don’t go for this other thing now, with MTV being so big where you get a band that gets a hit video, and all of the sudden they think that they’re like icons and they can tell us how to feel about environmental issues and how to vote and stuff. You know what I’m talking about?
Like R.E.M.? “Shiny happy people—” Hey Hey Hey Hey Hey! Pull that bus over to the side of the pretentiousness turnpike, all right? I want everybody off the bus. I want the shiny people over here, and the happy people over here, okay? I represent angry gun-toting meat-eating f...ing people, all right? Sit down and shut the f... up, Michael!
