Just started the fourth season of Justified. Really good show. A couple weeks back I remembered Miami Vice and did a search to see if it was available. Yup. So a couple of times I would watch an episode or two of Justified and then an episode of Miami Vice. Gotta stop doing that. After watching Justified it makes Miami Vice kinda sloowww. But then Miami Vice is from 36 years ago. But I'll watch it after I'm done with Justified.

Is Justified the show with the first season being about white supremacists?
Perhaps I turned it off too quickly when I saw that.
The white sup. was Shane from “The Shield” which was GREAT.
I would like to watch Justified if I Was misguided in my views. Thanks
Justified is an American Western crime drama television series that premiered on March 16, 2010, on the FX network.[2][3] Developed by Graham Yost, it is based on Elmore Leonard's Raylan Givens short stories, particularly "Fire in the Hole".[2] Timothy Olyphant portrays Raylan Givens, a tough deputy U.S. Marshal enforcing his own brand of justice.[2] The series revolves around the inhabitants and culture in the Appalachian mountains area of eastern Kentucky, specifically Harlan County where many of the main characters grew up. Justified received critical acclaim throughout most of its run.[6] Its acting, directing, art direction, and writing were praised, as were the performances of Olyphant and Walton Goggins. Justified was nominated for eight Primetime Emmy Awards, with two wins, for Margo Martindale's performance as Mags Bennett and Jeremy Davies' performance as Dickie Bennett.[7]

I can’t remember the first episode but would not be surprised if it did. But they would be the bad guys and Raylan would kick their azz. Its set in the Kentucky hills and who controls the drugs and alcohol. And all kinds of side plots.
As a Kentucky native, I greatly enjoyed the show, even if it played fast and loose with geography and travel times. (It’s quite a haul from Lexington to Harlan.)
And Raylan Givens was a GREAT character.
There’s such a thing as being too sensitive.
White supremes exist and if it’s that good of a show I am going to watch it.
Been looking for a new series (old) to watch.
Bosch leans left (not the character) but I like it.
He’s an old school cop.
Justified was terrific. We’ve been watching Hell on Wheels on Netflix. Highly recommended!!!
Both Hell on Wheels and Justified are great shows to watch on a lazy afternoon or anytime for that matter. Walter Goggins is unbelievable with the transformations he makes on Justified.
Another show I was prepared to hate was Ozark. However the action is almost all cliffhanger type stuff and keeps you glued to the set for as long as you can stand it.
“Western crime drama”
I am not sure why they would call it a “western drama,” since it takes place in modern day eastern Kentucky. It did follow some of the ingredients of the classical western: “good” defeats evil, and lawmen who took no crap. However, it was actually filmed in California. The series ended shortly after the writer died. Too bad, great series.
Another series I enjoyed was the “Outsiders (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Outsiders_(American_TV_series)"; whose setting was a modern day fictional town in Kentucky. It seemed to end prematurely, as WGN did not renew its continuation.

Longmire was really good too

I watch Yellowstone, too, but this season has been so slow. The previous 2 seasons were much better. I keep thinking this season has to be better, but they are down their last 3 episodes.
Yes, Longmire was good. I tried watching Yellowstone when it first came out but couldn’t get interested. Maybe again after other stuff.
Ozark is on Prime. At first I was a bit put off by all the characters are essentially crooks but once you get over that, it is fantastic.
Yes...we tried a Yellowstone episode...first one, we think...said...”maybe later”...seemed formulaic after Justified and Longmire
