Also: I’ve never received this ‘family’ survey; but I think I recall that there is no legal requirement to respond to it, as to the regular census.
At least, that was what we heard last time around.
Not a conspiracy nut. Gubmint can know two things about me.
1. I’m 1 person.
2. I’m alive.
Other than that, they can GFT.
Census is counting. Not knowing my race, religion, gender, LBTQRSTUV status.
Or income so they can cross-reference with IRS.

I felt my Obama-appointed “big chief” (not my area supervisor_) was trying to suppress our results in this conservative area. Kept insisting we re-investigate cases that obviously no one lived there.
Instead, we should have been looking in possible cases.
Cpuldn’t prove anything of course.

Yeah, the “ethnicity” questions are stupid. But that’s all.
It’s tough for me because I live in a liberal area and I know they overcount here. So to make it more correct it’s tempting to not participate.

Yep, they got the number of citizens living at the address they mailed the letter with the “fill it out online” code # to. The rest was “(area code) 555-1212” “American” and the like. With all the COVID-19 stuff going on I don’t expect a follow-up visit (not that I would answer the door).
I suspect they will have a flood of respondents writing “American” under the “background” question.
I never got a packet but there was a card in the mail saying to go online and do it. I think I will because they will just show up on here if I don’t.

I’m tempted to seek employment with my local people because they seem to be stuck. (Though I didn’t want or need to) they seem to have a big problem here.
