This 5 minute clip from 1952 My Son John is another important watch quickly explaining how communist indoctrination works in college and where it leads.

The “recruitment of young people in the 60s to radicalize them and trigger a violent revolution” was a fiction concocted by the prosecutor in order to protect certain famous people in the “entertainment” industry.
Railsback does deliver a spirited performance of part of Manson’s testimony.

There was a guy on local radio who always asked this question:
Who would you rather take a cross country road trip with - Hitler or Manson?
I always said Hitler. I've seen interviews with Manson, and he just talks gibberish outa his ass. I'd throw him out of the car before we even got out of town.
At least with Hitler, we could have some semblance of an intelligent conversation. Even if he only spoke German and I only spoke English, it's still be more intelligent than anything with Manson.

When they tell ya most liberals/leftist are to some degree insane, they’re not whistling Dixie. Just look at the extremest and cult like fanatics in academia.

I have always seen the Manson Family as a microcosm of the 1960s counter culture. Motives for the murders aside, Manson belonged in prison. Im not a Manson fan by any means but his societal critiques are sometimes pretty accurate. Here is an interview with Manson from 1984. Listen from the 5:19 mark to about the 7:06 mark. Its a description of the dissolution of the American Family and the damage done by the counter culture to the youth of the 1960s in story form. I believe that the roots of what we see unfolding today are in the 1960s.
