An elderly gentleman called today to get an appointment to see a professional. Then, he called back and cancelled, saying they were afraid of going to downtown because of the violence. That is a huge factor that the media nor anyone else I know of is covering. Suddenly, all kinds of professionals (doctors, lawyers, accountants, opthamologists, you name it) are losing a large number of appointments due to the FEAR the Democrats, media and their foot soldiers Burn Loot Murder bunch are bringing to the cities. This has to be STOPPED in its tracks.
If you want to put the underclass on reservations, do it in the desert, rather than on what would otherwise be prime real estate.
I have not been on the Interstate since this started. To be trapped in a traffic jam due to rioters would be terrifying.
Well, my commentary was on what should be/have been done, not how.
As you infer, there are deeper issues with the mechanics of it.
Re:” We have sown the wind as a nation.”
The planting of those seeds began ( and continues) in the government K-12 ( socialist-entitlement) schools.
It only took one to three generations of socialist-entitlement K-12 schooling to give the nation Woodrow Wilson and two Roosevelts!
If children learn to be comfortable with “free”socialist-entitlement schooling, why not use the voting mob to get **lots** of free stuff?
Finally....Our nation’s schools, starting in Pre-K are freedom’s **MOST**serious threat. As generation after generation of socialist-entitlement kids grow to adulthood, freedom will be lost in the voting booth.
I agree. It’d be nice if the cops at the beginning had laid down the law butt here we are. I do get very fearful sometimes.
I think those fears are valid. We should all be concerned.
