Ten teachers unions, the Democratic Socialists of America, and other groups are organizing a National Day of Resistance to protest for demands including no reopening of schools, police-free schools, and a “massive infusion” of federal funds while banning new charter schools.
Over 20 cities across the United States are scheduled to have protests tomorrow, including Chicago, Dallas, New York City, and Los Angeles. Prominent teachers unions are supporting the “actions” including the Chicago Teachers Union and United Teachers Los Angeles.
The list of other demands include: “Police-free schools”, “Moratorium on new charter or voucher programs and standardized testing,” and a “Massive infusion of federal money to support the reopening funded by taxing billionaires and Wall Street.”

Those aren’t teachers — those are Communist agitators.
They demand that we allow only them to indoctrinate our children.

Here in Omaha, the school board for OPS (granted, not the teachers union, per se) demanded that the city council enact a mask mandate. Now the city council is going to work on it.
So, it might just as well be the teachers union, making the laws for our city. How did we get to this? Omaha used to be a fair and respectable community.

The ironic thing is that police-free and discipline-free schools makes the job of teachers much more difficult and even puts their lives at risk.

“Police free schools.” Pure insanity. Not only do they want the worst “student” thugs running the schools and making real learning impossible, they also want to turn the schools into free fire zones for wannabe mass murderers, as though they feel we need more of such atrocities.

These commie pigs only care about themselves and their so called jobs.
They don’t give one hoot about our children as far as the unions go. Wanting to eliminate charter schools underscores that.
Too many teachers are outright commies who need to be removed from teaching their sick ideology to our children (indoctrinating).
With all of the people currently out of a job, would it be too difficult to remove the unions and the useless teachers and hire people who actually care?

The parents (legal custodian(s)) should get a check from each state or municipality for the amount allocated by the school system to education each child (double if two, triple if three etc.).
That parent should then have full choice as to the school they want their child or children to attend (public, private, charter, or on line).
Equal treatment under the law.
If the teachers refuse to teach, then refuse to pay them.
Truly make it “Freedom of Choice”, instead of what the politicians demand.
I want a refund on my school taxes this year!

K12 system in the US has LONG been flushing itself down the toilet knowing there was nothing standing in their way other than homeschooling and charter schools....
Not long ago, school bullying was a huge topic for liberals. Until the study reported that 13-15yo white girls were the most bullied. And 12-14yo white boys were the most beat up. And then there was no more talk of school bullying.
Now they want police removed from schools. “They” being criminals and their kin who prey on children and the liberals than enable them.
Make it a demand for a refund—and you are good to go!
