I don't agree with Coach P on too many issues...I will give him a credit for not taking a knee...He would not explain his decision...

He would not explain his decision... Based on his past statements, he probably feels unworthy to kneel because he isnt black enough.

A reason to not vilify Gregg Popovich. I don’t have a feel for this.

Gotta give credit where credit is due. I suspect his rationale for standing is based on one or both of the following:
1. His parents were immigrants, so he still retains an appreciation for this country that so many misfits and losers from long-time American families have lost.
2. He's a U.S. Air Force Academy graduate, and attended the academy during the peak of the Vietnam War when the wasn't considered very popular career option for a lot of leftist Americans.

I wonder if they would do this while in China. Playing for their Chinese fans. I mean disrespect the Chinese flag. For any reason. Hmm.

He just likes to be the center of attention and knew this would get him some headlines.

Just based on previous comments from popovich, patriotism is low on the list of motivations.

How sad that people must be told to not vilify someone standing for our national anthem. Very sad indeed.

I’m surprised Popovich did that. I thought for sure he’d be the first to kneel.

Professional sports is a form of corruption and it does the national anthem no honor to play it on such occasions even in the best of times.
But now the ritual is to play the national anthem explicitly for the purpose of dishonoring it.
Do *not* try to get them to reform. Starve the beast by giving no money to professional sports. And yes that includes college sports.

I commented on a Fakebook Article about the Players wearing Jerseys with those BLM inspired Slogans. I called them Bumper Stickers on the back of multi millionaires.
It took about ten seconds for a guy named Kobie, I kid you not, to Post a reply calling me a Racist.
