Following decades of pervasive advertising promoting the power of lighter skin, a rebranding is hitting shelves. But its unlikely that fresh marketing by the worlds biggest brands in beauty will reverse deeply rooted prejudices around colorism, the idea that fair skin is better than dark skin.
Unilever said it is removing words like fair, white and light from its marketing and packaging, explaining the decision as a move toward a more inclusive vision of beauty. Unilevers Indian subsidiary, Hindustan Unilever Limited, said the Fair & Lovely brand will instead be known as Glow & Lovely.

you believe it, she bought a double-pack of Crest+Plus
toothpaste with Scope and (gasp...gag...self-flaggelate...)

Get out your shoe shine kit.
All hair is beautiful
That is the new slogan of Unilever’s Dove brand. How long before that slogan triggers someone. It is obviously an allusion to another slogan that starts with: ALL......
I would give an honorable mention to the Japanese, particularly for automobiles and electronics.
Nearly all innovation and discovery from the 17th century onward has been by Europeans, and from the 19th century onward by English and Americans inventors - by a huge margin.
