Sheesh I’ve done this myself when I won a contest for the Blue Jays. It’s not hard. Just a short toss. The player caught it and then signed it for you. It’s a nice memento. My niece did the same thing. She didn’t embarrass herself either. The fact that so many famous people do embarrass themselves certainly levels out things a bit.
