TEXAS MOTOR CITY SPEEDWAY, FORT WORTH — For the first time, disabled and wounded officers are speaking out about an incident that occurred over the weekend at a NASCAR race at Texas Motor City Speedway in Fort Worth, Texas.
On Saturday, a group of disabled officers injured in the line of duty were seated as guests of top female NASCAR driver Angela Ruch. After the race, they asked NASCAR track security if they could take a photo with her vehicle benefitting The Wounded Blue organization, which was painted in tribute to more than 120 fallen officers killed in the line of duty.
And that’s when the trouble started.

Works for Me. I love to shoot but right now I’m waiting for the Surgical Wound on My foot to finish healing up. The bottom of My left foot had a 25mm deep x 10cm long x 8cm wide crater dug out of it and has been healing since 01/08/20. getting closer to closed up but it puts a damper on mobility.
I’m about done with noosecar anyway for ethical reasons.
Hmmm, there is a flog course about 3 blocks from the house...

I have been in a few NAPA autoparts ride alongs at 180 mph it is not easy just being along for the ride and that was 5 laps trust me its a sport and many all pros in any sport could stand it much respect

I’ve had trouble with that foot for a while. (5 years +/-) Started with a small wound on the side of that foot that would not heal. Long story shortened, the doc1 that I went to said the we needed to amputate the 5th Metatarsal and left little toe. So it happened. Got healed up OK. Then about a year passed with no problems. Then around the Thanksgiving/Christmas I got a small wound on the bottom that wouldn’t heal up and doc1 wanted to amputate My left foot. I said not yet. My Primary Doc sent Me off to the Wound Clinic for detailed Treatment. We did bandage changes every few days. On a Friday All looked good, Sunday change My Wife (A Retired Cardio Nurse) removed the Friday Bandage and said “Oh Crap, off to the ER !!!” She took a Pic for Me to look at and there was puss and black crap coming out so off to ER. They Admitted Me and started IV of Heavy Duty Antibiotics for a few days. The new Doc said We can try a massive debrieding and if that doesn’t work then we have no choice and the foot has to go bye-bye. So off to Surgery on 01/08/2020 and He scraped out the bad part and left the Crater of the Year. I got discharged 01/10/2020 and that’s when the wound vac went into action on 01/11/2020.
I keep waiting to turn into a bed sheet or blanket if I don’t get this healed up completely. I spend 90% of the time in bed to keep pressure off the foot.
Godspeed and providential healing! Been wound3d and cut up, but not a chronic issue so I have little perspective.
