Tropical Storm Gonzalo is expected to become the first hurricane of the 2020 Atlantic hurricane season east of the Lesser Antilles, but its forecast once it reaches the Windward Islands this weekend is highly uncertain.
Gonzalo is located over 1,000 miles east of the southern Windward Islands, moving west.
A hurricane watch has been issued for Barbados, where hurricane conditions are possible on Saturday.

Intellicast used to have a wonderful Tropical Storm page.
Then weather underground bought them out and ruined it. It doesn’t have near the useful information that Intellicast had.
What I’m looking for is a map of water temperatures in the Gulf. That was very useful information to have.

Not to read too much into colors, but it looks like their forecast map has it turning into a Category 1 hurricane as it passes south of Cuba then returns to tropical storm status. Hopefully, Gonzalo will make landfall in northern Mexico and be stopped at the wall just like the rest of the illegals.
It was the sea surface temperature maps that were color coded that I liked.
It gave you an idea of how much fuel the hurricane was heading into and hence its chances of strengthening. I found it very useful information.
Wunderground used to have a good Hurricane/tropical cyclone page that was quick an easy to find stuff on. Now it is tedious and many steps, and ambiguous when you get there.
Yup, like I said, they ruined it.
