See in the old days where people actually did things with their hands, everything was custom in that old world, all the way down to the paint jobs. Most all the vehicles were different...Custom...Now ya pay the stealership and drive off with your cool electric appliance. Pull up at a red light and ya see some other elderly retiree driving the same exact thing. It’s just different than the way it used to be. No hands on stuff....Just pay and drive. Very different than the car culture I was raised in.

Sure they do. Look at the blender in your kitchen. Those blades go from 0-to really fast in a fraction of second...That's what electric motor do.
Don't know about that... About 40-years ago the wife threw a toaster at me for forgetting our 20th wedding anniversary and it easily came close to those numbers...
