I work in an industry heavily connected with field work in the construction industry; in fact, my job requires constant, daily field work on multiple construction sites.
I haven't missed a day of field work since this all started, and I'm square in one of the "hot" zones.
I'm one of those morons that believe this current "crisis" is a Deep State concoction, fed wholeheartedly by their bought-and-paid-for whores in the MSM. When I see the crappola that's reported, I simply smile sadly. If anything, this "crisis" has exposed how badly this great Republic is occupied by sheep.
This is about getting Trump out of there, plain and simple-however they can.
I'm sure some of the pearl-clutchers here will respond with copious health warnings and other garbage. Whatever.... Screw you.
Anywho, I visit job sites everyday....many job sites. I wear the obligatory mask over my mouth (not nose), no gloves, nothing more than that. I touch my face regularly, nose, mouth, eyes, etc. I don't hand sanitize. I get closer than 6 feet multiple times a day. I visit NASTY porta-johns on a stand-up only basis; this was true before all of this. I touch surfaces all of the time.
So, with all of the dire warnings out there, why is it that I'm just not sick?

Pretty much agree. After Nov 3rd this will quickly fade as the Democrats get back to investigatin Trump for every little thing.

It’s a planneddemic. My sixty year-old sister who just had open heart surgery and has cancer got Covid and she said it was a moderate case of the flu in her eyes.
Likewise, the most at risk population next to seniors are the “homeless”. Horrible personal health practices. Drugs. Tobacco use. Obesity. Unprotected sex....
Yet they are not dropping like flies from covid.
Most construction workers stay home when they are sick?
We had a wedding on 7/11 (allowed in Nebraska’s Covid-19 rules). No one wore masks. A few people from out of state, about 60 local. Mostly relatives of the couple, some friends of assorted backgrounds and social habits, the catering staff, the DJ, etc. Also had the rehearsal event on the 10th.
No one seems to have come down with any illness or symptoms.
The saddest part is that all of the grandparents, in their 80’s, passed up the wedding, out of fear.
And we have an associate that we do SBA webinars with that just came down with the Wuhan. HIs wife is a nurse, but got it after him, and 21 y.o. son also has it. Other that going to a restaurant once, he doens’t know how he got it. I would presume wife, but she worked with babies...possible if she was asymptomatic before he caught it...

I have wondered the same thing. I am considered “high risk” (I qualify for Medicare in September and I take medication for hypertension). I have been working part time since last September, 5 days a week in a restaurant, in the dining room area and delivering prepared meals to homes and businesses. They didn’t make us start wearing masks at work until June. No one I know personally has had Covid except my ex-husband in Florida (and he fully recovered even with a compromised immune system). With all the face to face contact I have had with the general population, especially before they made us mask up, I would have thought I would have caught it by now.

If you are very active you are bulletproof for this thing, everybody reporting symptoms has been either inactive or had a unmitigated condition
