He was listed as an Independent, but voted Democrat, Sen. Joe Lieberman from CT, spoke at the Republican Convention in 2008 for John McCain......

If you remember, the Democratic Party ran a radical against Lieberman in the Primary who actually defeated Lieberman, Lieberman ran as an Independent and won.....

2008 after the RNC the Democratic Caucus voted to keep Lieberman in their caucus even though he spoke at the RNC....
