It’s not “leftists” in the Republican Party, it’s that Trump and his supporters are their own separate thing different from mainstream Republicans. He has widdled his base down to such a small minority, according to posters here Fox News is even too far left now. I’m sure if Bernie or AOC were more in the forefront of their party mainstream moderate Democrats would do the same
It should be alarming when all the popular Republican candidates from the last 2 decades are uncomfortable with Trump, (McCain Romney all the Bushes Lindsey Graham Ted Cruz Marco Rubio Kasich etc) but instead it’s seen as a good thing because the “deep state” or “uniparty” or something equally ridiculous

John Kasich’ Vocal Delivery is very weak and he doesn’t have a compelling TV Presence at all, as I’ve noticed through the years. After everything that President Trump has been through, + now the world knows the entire “Russian Collusion” B.S. was a Lie, I should’ve Fully Expected this RINO to appear at a RAT Convention, as he belongs nowhere else.
