You bet, a nice sing along sing song will bring everyone together.

They don't dance like that any more.
And with mp3s we can't smash records if we hate them.
Bring back vinyl Lord, please.

When he goes we will have lost a treasure. There will never be another Captain James T. Kirk.

More like Canned Ham! Terrible even by Shatner standards! Phone it in Bill! Guess he needs the cash from his divorce to buy a fridge to store his horse semen!

I caught his autobiographical one-man Broadway show years ago. It was extremely good. It was not all about Kirk. I knew he was from Canada but I didn't know he was Québécois or a Shakespearean actor.
My favorite Shatner bit is how he pronounces sabotage.

The definitive Shatner song is “Mr Tambourine Man.”
To: DoodleBob
Cut The Shat a fat enough check, and he’ll make anything sound like Shakespeare. Or a mockery. Or Biblical scripture. I never found Canned Heat to be of my taste, anyway. The look, the sound, the image, all gave off the vibe of ‘tree-hugging smelly hippie’. And I despise the whole earth-mama-commie-hippie dogma and lifestyle.

“a nice sing along sing song will bring everyone together”
Reminded me of Edith Bunker saying, in her loopy silly voice, “Let’s have a song-a-ling!”
Those were the days.
