Protesters marched through Seattle, Washington, on July 16, in a demonstration calling for a boycott of the Starbucks coffee chain.
Footage of the march shows protesters chanting we aint shopping at Starbucks no more. Protesters called for Starbucks to cut all ties with and support for Seattle Police Department during the demonstration.
Starbuckss first store opened in Seattle in 1971, and since then the company has grown to become the largest coffee chain in the world. However the business has come under fire for a series of racially charged incidents.

Last time I checked, business means voluntary transactions. I would shop Starbucks if I liked coffee, their coffee was good, and the price, was reasonable. Alas, “ain’t” is the operative word in each case.
I had a Corning percolator that my late uncle gave my parents as a wedding gift almost 60 years ago. I have no idea what happened to it. It made the greatest coffee in the world. I still have a blue speckleware camp stove percolator hanging on a hook in my breakfast nook, by the wood stove hearth. It makes a mean cuppa Joe, too.
Just another one to chalk up to the year 2020...

I’ll wager there is a product you use in the course of your daily life that does the same thing that buying a cup of Starbucks does. Ditto some of the other self-righteous types condemning folks who buy a drink from Starbucks.
I encourage you to carefully examine everything you purchase and stop buying anything that isn’t 100% pure ideologically.
I think Peets is equally as bitter as Scorchbucks.
While Waffle House, Hobby Lobby are in mostly red states.
I like their plain black coffee (strongest one of the day) — but I don’t buy it because I won’t support them.
