California is dying, I spoke with a good friend of ours who lives in Southern California for over thirty years and used to love it. However, she now says she is lonely and alone except for some true long time friends. Her grown two boys have moved from California into Arizona with the families, so her grand kids are many miles away!!! She does not believe a word the present governor utters and ditto for that fool Mayor of Los Angeles and other Mayors throughout California. Small businesses are dying, if not dead already. And she feels locked in and confined to her home for a reason no one has yet to give her that is Meaningful & True!!! She hates the Democrat Party, declaring, these low life buffoons have killed this great state!!!
As for New York, it's quite simple, even Democrats will grasp this and understand. New York City is dead....Cuomo & De Blasio have total killed the life of Broadway, no theater, no Radio City Music Hall, No tourists, hotels are empty, restaurants in midtown Manhattan have few customers, Chintown has died and so has Little Italy, The once great New York City Subway system has few passengers because of crime & it is the home for the homeless!!! The Governor & the Mayor have also killed the NYC Police Force, once the best police force in the entire world. I could go on & on, because life in the boroughs of The Bronx, Brooklyn, Staten Island & Queens in not safe, good or productive either and people with money are packing and leaving the city for Texas, Florida and other Southern states by the tens of thousands. The city has lost its magic, heart and soul and Mo Jo from two power hungry men that are more like Satan himself. SAD!!!
there is one hope for California & New York, although I think we will never see it happen. And that hope is that the voters of these two states politically destroy the entire Democrat Party. If not, you will some day only be reading what New York and California were like, because they will not exist as they once did!!! Your choice folks!!!
Broadway should move to Branson or Nashville. They’d have to cut ticket prices though.
Real Texas women have a ring faded on the back pocket of there jeans from where they carry their Copenhagen. Feel free to check it out,I do. ;)
We need to tell liberals from New York and California that we don’t want them... If we say it often enough, they might move to a different democrat hellhole.
“I cant speak for California these days but New York is in a race to the bottom.”
A FB car friend of mine lives in burough of Flushing. About 80% immigrants now. Place is filthy, litter everywhere. Crime through the roof. No one takes care of their homes anymore.
He has photos of his house on FB. Perfect yard, house is impecable.
He does not plan on leaving his family home of 80 years.
All his friends have already done so.
>>People are leaving.... depending on what the Governor does with schools, there are going to be a lot of homes on the market at the end of the summer as folks are going to move elsewhere.
I wonder if there’s an inverse REIT for the NYC market.. or for democrat-run cities in general..
That might be a selling point to some folks...
No doubt about it, the Democrats most certainly killed the once great state of California.
One day our children will be telling stories about NYC,SF, and Seattle to our grandchildren.no more SF warf or trolley, Macy parade, Rockets, NYE ball drop, Westminster Dog Show, space Needle, Pike Market. Big Sur, Redwood Muir Woods, it is all in the past forever.
I am a California native, lived there when we rode horses to the local Tastee Freeze, the 55 freeway was one lane each way..well you get it. Finally tossed in the towel about 5 years ago to the midwest, then last week finally landed in central Tennessee.
California was wonderful, Orange County especially, conservative, safe, and I am blessed to have grown up with the beach within walking distance and a nice home and a mom who stayed home to raise kids.
The California I see now is not even the same place. I cannot express the sadness I feel when I read or hear about the next loony thing happening there. I don’t even visit anymore. It is like watching an old friend die, you know they won’t ever come back.
My dad at age 90 even bailed out a few months ago and moved to Texas.
The good teachers nationwide are ready to move. Just waiting to see what the choices are.
The Dem voters need to walk away. The Dem party needs to be canceled because of its racist, violent past and present.
I sold my NYC condo last year. Glad to have gotten out when I did!
I live in Southern California and sorry to disappoint but this place is far from being dead. In fact in many ways its thriving despite the horrible government we have to deal with and more than our fair share of weirdo’s.
California has adsorbed more than its fair share of massive immigration (legal and illegal) with all the problems that entails.
Our elections are not honest. Massive voter fraud since motor voter passed years ago and now ballot harvesting.
Plus the California Republican party is pathetic and out of touch. Meg Whitman, Carly Fiorina, Arnold? To say that they are unpopular here is an understatement.
The real problem with Californian’s is that they don’t pay attention to politics until its starts to affect them personally.
This seems to have been at least part of their plan all along. That’s one reason behind the abusive shutdowns along with releasing thousands of prison inmates.
Same here in California. Attempting to get as many people as they can to move out and many of those moving will be heading to states that could be negatively affected as far as the electoral college is concerned.
We had 98 here in VT last week and the humidity was 76%. 102 in OK dosen’t seem that bad.
Fortunately my kids have seen 90% of those mentioned. They loved SF and Cavallo Point
I hope they will remember.
If CA and NYC are dying why are housing prices still so high? It’s like “It’s so crowded nobody goes there anymore”
In NYC 3 residential buildings bigger than the Empire State Building will open this & next year.
That's nothing. It was 118 in Phoenix on Saturday. 100 degrees isn't bad, as long as it cools off at night. We get that here in SW Idaho during the summer, sometimes even warmer. But it cools off at night. It was 48 at my house this morning.
CA has by far the nation's largest economy and it's been growing faster than the US overall.
In fact, a good chunk of our GDP growth is thanks to CA.
118 Degrees??
Sure you don’t live on Venus?
Who knows, there are probably some health benefits to living in a very hot climate. You certainly get your dose of Vitamin D from the sun.
