WESLEY CHAPEL Two armed intruders were shot dead and a third was wounded when a homeowner fired on them early Friday, according to the Pasco County Sheriffs Office.
The homeowner said he was inside his home playing video games when at about 12:43 a.m. he heard the glass of his laundry room door shatter, according to a sheriffs report. He saw an arm reach inside to unlock the door. Then the homeowner said he saw a masked man walk in and aim a gun at him.
The homeowner said he grabbed his Glock 9mm pistol, which was just a few feet away, and fired several times at the intruder. He saw the intruder fall down, the report said. Then a second masked intruder entered the house, and the homeowner said he fired at him, too. That intruder also collapsed.
The masked men were aiming their weapons at the homeowner when they were shot, said Pasco Sheriff Chris Nocco.

So what game is was he playing? Maybe he shot these guys because he was about to clear a level.

“Two more Covid deaths.”
And the third one is probably on a ventilator by now. Never miss a good opportunity in a disaster.

Like any state it depends where you live
“At least they were being socially responsible.”
LOL. Nice.
AND, they’ve all been sanitized!
The perps, by the way, were Amish.
Oh those dasterdly Amish......somebody take care of the horse and buggy please.......
“Florida has a high crime rate.”
The perception of wealth, along with it being there, is credited to the large amount of retirees in St. Pete. I.E. out of state money coming in from all over. It is also a high drug state.

So the need for money is a real problem for buyers and users. Home invasion is normally the easiest way to get cash, if it is better planned, and is the safest way to get goods to sell for worth. And Pasco is a tough area. Not real surprised it happened there.

“Florida has a high crime rate. People should consider that before moving there because of no income tax.”
Well, it just got a bit lower...
“In reality, you shoot the highest threat target first. Failing that, closest target first. Shoot to stop, shift targets, repeat.”
It’s tricky - you need them in the house to prevent lawsuits, by trying to get 3 in there at once, especially with one shooting, can be tough.
He did very well.
“As I understand it, the home owners first mistake is to boast his fire arm collection on social media.”
Arguable. Perhaps he wanted that exact outcome, as it certainly makes his local community quite a bit safer, considering their wrap sheets.
Congrats to the homeowner. Well done. Perps will think twice before trying to steal a gun collector’s set again.
As I understand it, the homeowner posted pictures of his gun collection on Facebook and he thinks that might have drawn the thieves. Ya know, I used to post a lot of pictures of me with my guns, shooting at the range because it was such fun. I’m not sure it’s a good idea to advertise that you are armed anymore. I never talk about guns unless a stranger brings up the topic and don’t post pics anymore.
Anyone else feel this way?
Yes. Me.
So the 2nd guy thought he could do a better job stopping bullets, huh? Need to rethink your strategy. Back to the drawing board.
“Knew the perps”. He had every right to shoot them, of course, but I wonder what they were after, since they all knew each other. Kinda sounds like a scene from Breaking Bad, a show I wish I had never watched, especially near the end, as it just got more and more evil and seamy.
They were probably just trying to obtain some physics and calculus books so they could continue their pursuit of a PhD in electrical engineering. /s
I didnt know the Amish had a sect that embraced BLM.
Neither did I, but apparently, according to reality t.v., they have their own mafia.
Get something better than a Glock.
Great but did they do the social distancing thingy?
They are are about as socially distant as possible now.
Not Amish, white supremacists.
Finally, some feel good news!
