So sick of the same old same old postings i now read daily on here on FR. This might not be the most exciting article but at least it is more interesting than most of the other postings that i read over and over.
I'm gonna start randomly posting military hardware, astronomy, technology etc.. articles here to at least try to give us something interesting to read once in a while...

They didn’t secure the planes or get them out of town?
I don’t believe it.

We should have lots of (comparatively) inexpensive warplanes instead of a few gazillion dollar video game based gadgets. A swarm of FA-18s, Warthogs, etc would be far better.

The article makes “hot seat swap” missions sound new. Did they get their info off of someone’s OPR?
The USAF has done this as long as I’ve been associated (1981).

I did not see the article inquiring why 31% of a squadron’s planes are unflyable? Not unable to go into combat, UNFLYABLE.
In years past, a squadron commander who couldn’t save 30% of his squadron’s planes from being destroyed with at least 24 hours notice would have been removed from his command.
In this case it is likely that there was no maintenance money allocated. Thank you, Pentagon and Congress.

One of my daily reads is
The War Zone. The main guy, Tyler, can meander a small bit into Trump bitching, but overall it's a great source to post from.

If our air force gets destroyed (sabotage, neglect, etc) we still have our aircraft carriers.

LOL! I agree. Are you also taking requests? Monty Python biographies and the new FGC-9 pistol have potential. As well as lbry.tv stuff of credibility.

I'm not sure the Air Force has time to maintain it's squadrons. So much time is needed for cancel culture activities and making sure all shadow government political agendas are being satisfied.

Combat readiness is far down the AF list of priorities now, same with the other services too. Insubordination to the Commander in Chief remains at the top.

With our without the Raptors that we have we are probably screwed in a conflict with the chicoms. There never were enough Raptors. The program was cut short too soon to make the fleet material in a real conflict.
We are kidding ourselves.
