The greatest and most important catch of his life. A real hero and the mother was a true embodiment of what a parent/mother should be when a child is in danger.
What a sad story. The mom died in the fire?
AMEN!!
The mom died in the fire?
Sadly yes.
How is the kid? In the video it looks like the Marine might have broken the kid’s fall without really catching him.
The son was in the hospital with smoke inhalation and minor burns. The daughter (whom the Mom went back for) is in worse shape and will need multiple surgeries eventually.
So true. The catch has everyone's attention. Another man also was standing there to catch the child. Both men should be applauded.
But the mother was the true hero.
I’m glad he was around to catch the kid. It’s sad for the mother and I’m sure the boy will miss his mother.
And you know, this is a refreshing act in lieu of all the craziness and violence lately.
I thought this was FREE Republic, people can’t ask question? Voice opinion? why not, because it bothers you?
That guy and his friend need a heroes welcome and a reward. Wonder If there is a trustworthy way to reward true heroes. GFM seems to be taken over by frauds in some cases.
cancel culture.
Nice Catch Marine.
The mother showed the ultimate love for her children . . . her life.
“Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.”
