The left controls the media, but the media is dying.
Well there is no place to run to. At 53 you probably have 10 to 12 years until retirement. I am retiring next March.
I have spent the last 10 years guiding my sons into occupations that are not location specific(they both have engineering degrees) to give them the best chance going forward. My family has firearms training and both grown sons are Eagle Scouts so they have leadership and wilderness survival down. I have selected a retirement location and am currently shopping for a house near a town but with reasonable wooded property. I have an RV incase I have to bug out. Always put yourself in the position to contemplate what would I do if this happens and prepare accordingly. At your age you may still have teenagers try to steer them into fields of occupation that give them the most options and away from urban centers. Good Luck!

No but getting fired for a private e-mail you sent years before your employment cannot be legal. This has happened. Not to mention people losing their jobs for saying “all lives matter”.
Sadly I think “At Will” employment means it is. Rather unless you are fired for being a member of a protected class (race, religion, gender, gender identity, sexuality), it’s fair game.
We must push back individually or as a group and always stand united to protect our own. Organization and control of the media and the use of bullying is how the left made their head winds. We need to unite and fight back. It seems social media has become one of the leftist weapons of choice.
It is a given that the left and elites want to take away the Bill of Rights. We must never allow that to happen. It means supporting financially those like FR & others who help fight against it.
Rush was on the radio today, one of his statements:

he went on to say that two generations of kids have been mis-educated into a false history of America...
Then don't post anything to social media. It's pretty useless for the most part and is like volunteering to poke yer head out of the holes in a "Whack-a-Mole" board..

These days you can not only be fired for what you say, but for what your wife says.

True, but we had that when Trump walked in the door. We got Ryan and McConnell and McCain, and Graham etc pretending like Russia collusion was real, and threatening impeachment if he fired Mueller or Sessions. They knew it was all fake and they went with it anyway. McConnell refused to put the Senate into recess to prevent appointments. Senate has been continually “in session” since Trump was sworn in. The next thing they did was refuse to overturn Obamacare. Then they demanded the Syrian war continue. They obstructed him on China. They obstructed him on North Korea. The dems were powerless until Ryan handed them the house.
The worst gut punch to his entire presidency came from the Republican party.
We don’t just need republicans, we need a way to replace the Republican leadership.
