Why has Mexico remained as a third world basket case? Having asked that question I checked out its Constitution. Sure enough, similar to its cousin the Soviet Constitution, it GUARANTEES all kinds of free stuff. Socialism fails. Always.

I love Mexico, but don’t forget they had a socialist “revolution” there around the turn of the last century. That’s what’s led to their problems. Even the theoretically Conservative party bought into the socialist corruption and statist ideology. AMLO is a radical leftist but he was elected on an anti corruption ticket.

Trump is honest, AMLO is actually pretty honest about his goals, so this could be a good meeting.

Well, that’s just part of it. Corruption is ingrained in Latin American culture. Mexico should be a world-class country.
