When Joe Biden pledged at the final Democratic primary debate to select a woman as his running mate, Illinois Sen. Tammy Duckworth was rarely mentioned as a contender.
But that is changing as Biden and his campaign move closer to a decision that is expected to come early next month.

Biden's announcement that he would pick a woman in March was largely greeted with cheers, but the terms of an intra-party debate over representation at the top of the ticket have sharpened over the past few months. The question now -- one that has been amplified by more than a month of anti-racist protests around the country -- is whether Biden should narrow his slate to women of color -- and, more specifically, Black women.

"The Biden campaign have their own process that they're going through. And I'm sure Vice President Biden will pick the right person to be next to him as he digs this country out of the mess that Donald Trump has put us in," Duckworth said.
Pressed for a more direct answer, Duckworth didn't budge, saying that Biden "knows best" what he needs from a running mate that it was not on "any of us to dictate to him."
The Biden campaign declined to comment.

It’s going to be big Mike....which is a huge reason Trump is going after Obama. He’s already made the point that Obama is a corrupt crook and big Mike is tied directly to him and Biden.

Dumbworth would be a great choice - she can barely read a prepared statement without screwing it up. She is a terrible campaigner. The only reason she won her first race was because of a re-districting that handed her the election. She will probably have a primary race in the next Illinois Senate election.
Gee if Joe could just find an Islamic, illegal, transgender, Black homosexual he would be sure to win.
Duckworth was born in Thailand to an American father and a Thai Chinese mother. Is she constitutionally qualified? Or does that not matter anymore? I’m betting that if she were 31 years old, no one would be considering here. What about the other part of the requirement?

It matters to people loyal to the Constitution.
It doesn’t matter to the GOP or any of their favorite anchor babies.
Biden is being forced to nominate a black woman.
She’ll be an affirmative action nomination.
If Biden doesn’t go with a black woman, BLM and the race pimps will be all over him and the DNC and congressional democrats in general.
We’ll have the first black woman president in history, shortly after January 2021.
What is it with all of the dual citizens, half-Americans, and non-eligible people that have been running the last ten years?
