Maybe people should mention the violinist who premiered Beethoven’s Violin Sonata No. 9 was a mixed race black by the name of George Bridgetower.
It appears the entire argument for Beethoven being “black” boils down to a couple historical comments about his “Moorish or Spanish” complexion. That’s isn’t black, that’s the olive complexion that is common throughout southern Europe (Spain, Italy, Greece). If you follow that line of logic, then it means Europe is already about 40% black. Their second argument is Beethoven music had African themes (never heard that myself, but still lets go with it). He was one of the most learned musical scholars of his age! Did he have to be black to know about “African musical themes”? Could he not have studied it at some point in his life (which is far more likely than him being black).
The same people are convinced Cleopatra was black and Lincoln was a homo.

If Beethoven is black then maybe Elizabeth Warren is an Indian after all.
