Boycotting works, especially if the retailers, big and small, see a drop in sales.
Are you nuts? Wimpy Abbott already knows from sales tax receipts that local businesses are in serious trouble if not already bankrupt. He doesn't care as long as Walmart and Home Depot are OK.
There is ZERO scientific evidence any typical mask has an iota of efficacy against virus’. None.
In fact, the New England Journal of Medicine had published a long-term study years ago where they made this quite clear.
The reason surgical masks are worn by surgeons is to prevent Bacterial Infection. Bacteria are far larger than viruses. Orders of magnitude larger.
Even then masks are not 100% effective is bacterial control but, they have been proven to significantly reduce bacterial infection through aerial spread via the exhaled droplets of the medical staff.
Grow up. This not some theoretical game. Nor is Covid a Chinese hoax or a Democratic conspiracy. It is a serious health crisis that for some people is life threatening. I would prefer a world where everybody did the right thing for the sake of their neighbors and family but sadly that doesn’t seem to be working everywhere. Under the circumstances this is probably, if regrettably, necessary on a temporary basis. I don’t like wearing a mask, but I am and I will until it’s safe not to.
Deaths are plummeting while cases are rising. Clearly, the virus or its effect is weakening, but it would appear that there is a desire to keep the fear of the virus going, at least until the election.
Wrong Message-Wrong Time. Instead of killing the economy and jobs (mostly small businesses who employ 86% of all workers), why not just punish the elected idiots in November? Shooting a flea with a howitzer will not solve the problem. I live in Texas - I see the current impact on hospitals and those at risk from stupid people tricks. Not a democrat, or liberal, believe in consequences for the stupid and guilty - not for the innocent and helpless. You don’t want to wear a mask - ok - no one is going to arrest you in Texas. Your liberty ends when it impacts my rights/safety.
I thought that too until the protests. I watched all those people on the streets thinking what idiots. But come to find out nobody got the virus. Why? The mask. No more proof needed them the millions who were part of that.
Can you smell your own farts while wearing a mask?
If you can. Then the Kung flu virus will sail right thru it.
Sorry. N95, surgical Or dust masks aint gonna save you from the rona...
Try it. I have. And several others have as well. While you are at it. Put a cheap pulse/ox meter on your finger. Breathe with a mask on, then without a mask. Id bet your missing a bit of O2 in your body/blood with a mask
But by all means. If it makes you feel safer. Then do it.
#tag. Facts matter
“...I dont think some of those blue state goovenairs care how bad their states suffer....”
Nope...IF it means keeping the POTUS from having a rally in their shite hole of a state, they don’t care.
Temporary? ROTFLMAO!!!
Then why were the rioters spared?
FACE MASKS = CONTROL
Hospitals are squealing like pigs in Tennessee because people are avoiding them like the plague...guess the CASH they are getting for “COVID” patients aren’t covering their losses in other areas. Medical cartels are as corrupt as politicians.
Your whole premise is bologna.
Only certain counties and when indoors in public spaces.
Are you planning on not putting gas made from Texas oil in your vehicle?
You don’t have to go inside to get gas.
Any county that has more than 20 COVID cases, meaning a majority of counties, certainly a large majority of the state’s population, is subject to the mandate.
When this took off in NJ months ago there was panic over staff and equipment in northeastern NJ (closest to Ground Zero - New York City) - and at the same time, hospitals in the southern half of the state were furloughing employees because they were idle. They were idle because the governor applied a one-size-fits-all approach that ended elective procedures statewide
