We have wild horses around my town of Maricopa and we love seeing them from the 347 highway. We even post breathlessly on neighborhood social media when they’re “out.” I can’t imagine anyone being upset when those beautiful creatures are around.

At one point, he thought he smelled cows. They drove through some rolling hills, and when they cleared the last one, an oasis of brightly lighted buildings rose in the east.
