To make an omelette you must break some eggs. To create a wonderful socialist utopia, you first need to destroy the existing capitalist one. It’s standard practice. But you can’t separate the end from the means. The egg breaking never stops. And what you get in the end doesn’t work anyway. The left wants its day in the sun, but doesn’t know how to get it other than bringing the endless winter night to everyone else. They see all others as only standing in the way, and once eliminated, their hopes and dreams will just materialize as though by magic. So for them, it’s not about a positive vision for themselves as much as a negative one for their perceived enemies.
