Video Link

I think this must be produced by the Trump campaign. Very effective at poking fun at Joe.

It won't be *nearly* enough to poke fun at Plugs.Back in January that would have been enough but *everything* is changed.Amercans are angry and scared.

The President's ads must feature stark images of police cars burning, statues being pulled down and a section of a major American city being declared "independent"...and images of the Rat Party *supporting* this! He can start by featuring a recent quote by the bull dyke Attorney General of Massachusetts saying (on 6/2 IIRC) ,"Yes,America is burning...but that's how forests grow".

I'm sure it's not necessary to point out that this bull dyke is a Rat.

Nope...as soon as I saw "hilarious" I knew what my response would be.If the video resembles,in any way,the darkness of ads that that unapologetic racist,LBJ,ran in '64 then maybe I should rethink my response. But the word "hilarious" simply DOES NOT COMPUTE today. And it most certainly won't on 11/8.

Sheesh.

Political humor is a devastating weapon. Has been so since, say, the time of Aristophanes in ancient Greece.

Very simply, hilarity encourages people to laugh at the subject being mocked. When a politician is being laughed at he/ she is on defensive. When on defensive that person is forced to explain. When explaining a candidate is losing ground.

Remember? The dramatization to appreciative conservative audiences of the Strozk/Page adulterous love letters....it was hilarious.
I keep thinking how hilarious a dramatization of Suzan Rice's Inauguration Day email would be.

To the Obama flunkies, Susan Rice’s “Dear Me” e-mail to herself on Donald Trump’s Inauguration Day they wish it would go away. They’ve been caught running a spying operation on the incoming administration and are now pulling out the Clinton MO...."there’s nothing to see here.'

Rice's email bears witness to a seminal event in the quest to expose who knew what and who did what in the illicit effort to tip the 2016 election to Hillary Clinton and, when that failed, to undermine the safety and security of Americans to sabotage Trump’s presidency.

BACKSTORY The e-mail recounts a meeting on Jan. 5, 2017, where top Obama officials discuss the monitoring of Susan Rice's replacement, incoming NSA Michael Flynn’s conversations with the Russian ambassador. Though FBI Director James Comey says Flynn hasn’t revealed any secrets, he worries about how often the two have spoken.

President Obama asks if they should withhold information from Flynn. “Potentially,” Comey replies.

The beauty of the e-mail is also its puzzle. Oddly, Rice puts Obama and Vice President Joe Biden in the middle of a scam, places acting Attorney General Sally Yates at the scene and implicates J. Edgar Comey. By doing all that, Rice inadvertently confirms that a deep state will be more loyal to the former president than the new one. Resistance, leaks and ultimately impeachment will be the poisoned fruit of that cabal. (h/t NYP's Michael Goodwin)

=============================================

Suzan skipped down the Yellowbrick Road, along with the mental midgets of the Obama Administraton that notorious day.

<><>Rice’s e-mail clearly emanates from the mind of a political zero.....Rice fills in the blanks and exposes the raison d'etre for the cabal.

<><> Rice pinpoints the cast of characters and even writes of Obama's "words of wisdom" to the colluders.....the first and only time the Halfrican is caught flatfooted in the web of deceit.

<><> Rice's robotically penning “by the book” to describe Obama's instructions is intended to create a narrative that emphasizes "Obama did nothing wrong."

<><> Joe Biden looms large, ludicrously mentioning the Logan Act to nail Flynn. Apparently, the colluders thought this was (ahem) genius on Joe's part.

<><> One of the most dramatic moments is Rice's belatedly remembering that she wrote the memo at the suggestion of Obama’s WH counsel, Neil Eggleston. His tax-paid job was to protect the president, which the memo aims to do.

We conservatives have waited more than three years, we should not let this moment pass quietly. Should we open on Broadway or Off-Off Broadway?

Thank goodness we have Trump as a candidate. If we had a gentlemanly loser candidate, like McCain or Romney, certain images would be beneath them. I agree with your post 100%. Cute or funny will not win. We must confront the Rats with their brutal record. Have the democrats criticized Antifa in Portland or Seattle?

"THE MSM---IT PAYS TO BE IGNORANT"
Some plays just write themselves----this one is SRO.

Remember when we heard all those optimistic predictions for a Democratic candidate now being made for Biden?

Listening to the pundits' joyful projections for Biden, a keen sense of déjà vu arises.

<><> Same pollsters guaranteed us back then that the White House will be occupied with the first ever female president.

<><> They predicted a "bloodbath" of an election in favor of Mrs. Clinton.

<><> "It's great for you Hillary that 56%of Americans think you have the temperament to serve as president, while only 32 percent think the same of your rival.

<><> It's lucky that Trump is your opponent," wrote Vanity Fair,

<><> V/F "knew" Clinton would win because 61% thought she was qualified to be president, while 64% thought Trump was not.

You identified this email very early on as significant. And now I think your idea for a Broadway play is right on.

Maybe they can open the play in the great outdoors of Central Park. Masks optional.

Yes,I get that...I *really* do.But do you understand that American voters are *not* in a laughing mood today? The other day Plugs stated that 120 million people have died of the Wuhan Flu.Of course this, and many other things, must be pointed out.But do you do it with a giggle and a smile in your voice...or do you do it with a "and *this* guy wants to have his finger on the button?" tone of voice?

As I mentioned earlier...think of LBJ's ads (don't know if you're old enough to remember...but I am).His ads...his whole campaign...painted Goldwater as a dangerous, psychotic, psychopath and his TV ads would close with an image of a mushroom cloud. This was months after the Cuban Missile Crisis (which I *also* vividly remember).

I'd want a somber tone...sounds like you guys would opt for giggles.

Just sayin'...

Here's another:
Weaponizing Ridicule

J. Michael Waller, PhD

Source: Army University Press

The fifth rule: Ridicule is man’s most potent weapon. It is almost impossible to counterattack ridicule. Also it infuriates the opposition, who then react to your advantage.

—Saul Alinsky, Rules for Radicals

Venezuelan women stripped off their pants and threw them at riot police, taunting the already demoralized young men to “man up” and put them on. Jeering crowds laughed at the confused paramilitary forces, chanting for them to “wear some pants” and side with the people against the tottering Maduro dictatorship. Suddenly, the truncheon-wielding, helmeted police and their armored vehicles didn’t seem quite so menacing. Once the public could make fun of the repressive machine, everyone knew the police state’s time was running out.

Improvised street theater across Venezuela in the spring of 2017, with the occasional Molotov cocktails adding drama to provoke overreaction among the security forces, marked the tipping point for a corrupt regime that had brought itself to the breaking point. The people laughed in the face of their oppressors. Their fear evaporated.

When a police state loses its ability to instill obedience or fear, it cannot long survive. When terrorists lose their ability to terrorize, they lose their most vital psychological weapon. Terrorism being by definition a form of psychological warfare—the name says it all, which is to instill terror among populations and leaders—the perpetrators cannot exist in perpetuity if they fail to cow the people.

Killing terrorists and their supporters is only part of the counterterrorism arsenal. Yet, hunting down and killing them has been the primary means of counterterrorism in a war apparently without end. Sometimes the worst thing to do to an enemy is to mock him or her. Ridicule, mockery, and their related tactics have been weapons against evil—and evildoers’ weapons against all things good—throughout recorded history.

“The devil … the proud spirit … cannot endure to be mocked,” wrote Sir Thomas More, the closest friend and confidant of King Henry VIII, who would lose his head to the executioner’s axe for being what he called “the king’s loyal servant, but God’s first.”1

Ridicule can work when philosophy, theology, or reason fails. “The best way to drive out the devil, if he will not yield to texts of Scripture, is to jeer and flout him, for he cannot bear Scorn,” said Martin Luther, a leader in what would become the Protestant Reformation.2

Authors Douglas J. Feith and Abram N. Shulsky echo Luther, writing, “One of the most potent weapons of the Enlightenment in its battle against religious fanaticism and intolerance was ridicule.”
