A star cross country runner said she will no longer wear a jersey bearing her high schools name Robert E. Lee and is pushing for a renaming of the 62-year-old campus, according to reports.
Trude Lamb, 16, an incoming sophomore at the school who was adopted from Ghana back in 2014, wore the schools jersey, emblazoned with Tyler Lee, throughout her freshman year but has had enough, CNN reported.

Fine. Off the team. Next.
The boat leaves for Ghana (ria) in an hour.
In Montgomery, Alabama, they have a Robert E. Lee High School. Wonder when that comes under attack and the demand comes to close that name out and it is named after ole Malcom X?
“....Fine. Off the team. Next.....”
And THAT is how it should be done.....everywhere.
That’s okay. I’m sure there’s a transexual female out there who would love to run in her place.
What’s her problem? Bring from Ghana, it is more likely that HER forebears sold slaves than mine, and probably more than Robert E. Lee, as well, as Ghana was dong it wholesale.

Public Schools are good at one thing.
Back to the black continent with you beotch.
Come on. She was 10 when she got her, so she’s had 6 years to be brainwashed. I agree...off the team.
That’s right.

After being at school how many years? “Will no longer”. It was OK until this week?
How about transferring to another school? Or perhaps the name of the school does not have an impact on the performance or attitudes of the students and they should focus on classwork instead?
Robert E. Lee we raise our voice in praise of your name, it says. May honor and glory eer guide you to fame.
What has he done for him to be praised like that? Lamb said.
I am not much of a fan of any anthem sang in the name of a person, but different strokes for different folks.
I would ask, what have you done for you to change something that has stood for 60 years? How about go back to the *hit *ole country of your birth and teach your kin to quit taking and selling slaves?
Go to hell
And I demand that Sheila Jackson Lee change her name along with Samuel Jackson or any black person named Jackson or Lee.
