Me too.
Recently I watched one of her COVID shutdown shows, with the kids doing the assisting and filming.

The best “store bought” cole slaw is from Aldi’s.

Seriously!!

Thanks for the tip. I’ve been planning on making a trip to Aldi’s soon. Great place to buy staples at low prices.

I heard their Mama Corsi pizzas or good, not so much the frozen ones, but the ones in the refrigeration case. One day I went to get one, then I noticed on the box it said, “previously frozen,” so I opted against it.

It didn’t even occur to me. Why should I go through the hassle when all anyone needs to do is click on the link to get it?

True. It comes down to who you want to give the clicks to.

True. And I gave one link that was sufficient. It seems that a few folks around here need to be spoon fed. I say go talk to your mommy. That’s not my job.

You should try Chick Fil A. It’s a seriously good sandwich.

I intend to. Probably soon. It’s a ways away but I need to go to Walmart to return a crummy wet dry vac and Chick is right across the street.

I don't recall you being so impertinent in the past.

I'm going to have to take a second look at you in the future.

Try that same recipe adding 1 tbsp celery seed and substitute horseradish sauce for mayonnaise. Gives it a slight spicy kick without going full on hot. Especially nice with seafood.

I can’t stand restaurant slaw or guac. Homemade is the way to go. Homemade is fresher and cheaper. That said, that recipe is close to mine but add some celery salt and dill seeds.

Sweet coleslaw like this works on eastern NC style because it counterbalances the pepper vinegar sauce on the pork. Sweeter styles of pulled pork would benefit from a version of coleslaw with some tang and maybe slightly hot.

Think I’ve been twice. Hated their sandwich the first time years ago. Decided to give them another chance when they were getting bad press. Never again. I ordered a chicken breast sandwich but what I got was chicken nuggets on a dry nasty bun. The second I opened the wrap, the nuggets fell to the floor of the car because there was nothing to hold them onto the bun. Nuggets and bun, that’s it. Well, that’s it with them, too. Plus the service was bad.

Oh, the dog, who eats everything including cat poo, turned his nose up and backed away from the nuggets. B a c k e d away.

I have 60 pages of banned products and companies and besides Walmart I do just fine avoiding them.

I used to eat at a really good Bar BQ place which put nothing on the meat except what the open pit smoke did.

They had maybe 5 different sauces at each table. My preference was one which wasn’t much different from Cole slaw. It really mixed well with the smokey pork.
