Sonic Drive-In customer shatters door after chicken tender dispute

Police say the incident started over the wrong sauce on an order of Sonic chicken tenders. The driver handed her food back to the Del City Sonic employee and pointed to the receipt after an exchange of words.

The woman in the driver’s seat unbuckled her seatbelt and got out of the red Nissan Altima.

She started yelling at the employees and allegedly tried to get in through the side door.

Then, surveillance video shows a man in the passenger seat hop out and start punching the window.

The woman tries to drag the man away, but he breaks free, coming right back to demand his food.

Meanwhile, the employees of the Sonic Drive-In locked the building down. Just when they thought it was all clear, the man is caught on camera reaching down onto the floor board and chucking a glass bottle straight at them, shattering the front door of the building.

That is a very early Sonic add.

The give away is that one cannot see them wearing the shoulder harness of the seat belts.

Sonic used these two guys to advertise to the people who had lower IQs than themselves. The problem that created can be seen in the video.

I hope the Del City police catch up with those two animals and arrest both of them for disturbing the peace and the male for assault and destruction of private property.

This sort of thing happens at Sonic. I remember once as assistant manager a drunken teenager smashed through the glass door and planted his face onto the counter. I was behind the counter and poured some hot coffee on his head. His friends then pulled him away but we had his expensive sports car license number.

Later the snooty parents came in to apologize and pay for the door trying to mitigate the charges. The owner said he would speak to the DA IF the young man came in to apologize - which he did later.

I cannot imagine how essentially carefree one’s life must be where getting the wrong dipping sauce at a fast food restaurant leads to this.

It takes a certain amount of living, not all of it pleasant, to learn not to sweat the small stuff. Perspective is gained, patience is learned. It took me a long time, but I got there.

This is a joke right? Rioters are looting, burning and destroying private property everywhere, but they're on the hunt in this McWhopper chicken licken caper!
