This sort of thing happens at Sonic. I remember once as assistant manager a drunken teenager smashed through the glass door and planted his face onto the counter. I was behind the counter and poured some hot coffee on his head. His friends then pulled him away but we had his expensive sports car license number.

Later the snooty parents came in to apologize and pay for the door trying to mitigate the charges. The owner said he would speak to the DA IF the young man came in to apologize - which he did later.
