The thing with the Internet is, you can't ban anything. One site bans some video stream you cant get the same stream from thousands of other streaming sites.
I didn't even know HBO has a streaming service. I have had GWTW on VHS DVD etc for decades. One of my all time favorite movies.
It seems to me that slaveowners would make life good for their slaves being they were investments in his wealth and productivity... mistreating a slave would make them more likely to escape and then they would have to be put down...
Perhaps there was a how to treat your slave properly guide for the new slave owner...
Ironically I just re-watched “Django Unchained” on Netflix last night. That was really an underrated movie as the acting and dialogue was phenomenal. The only flaw was that the ending was a bit over the top.

Anybody watch "Pulp Fiction?" Tarantino is fussing at Sam Jackson and John Travolta and repeats the phrase, "..dead nigger storage!"
Where's the outcry about that? Burn the film! Fine Tarantino a Political Correctness penalty. Assess him a cultural appropriation fee.
LOL. Tarantino has been pounded repeatedly for the hilarious scene in Pulp Fiction in which he cameo’ed and uttered the infamous line, “Did you see a sign on my garage that says ‘dead n****r storage’?”
The scene’s setup: the 2 protagonists, Vince, white, & Jules, black, were riding in a car with Marvin, a black guy.
Jules is driving & hits a bump, causing Vince’s gun to go off, accidentally blowing Marvin’s brains all over the back seat.
Vince & Jules want Tarantino, white, to help them hide the bloody car & Marvin’s body.
They assume he’ll be ok with it *because* he has a black wife.
Tarantino’s character OTOH, knows his black wife will be furious when she returns home in a few minutes & discovers the mess.
Ironically, black scholar Randall Kennedy, in his book “N*****r: The Strange Career of a Troublesome Word,” defended Tarantino’s use of the word, despite being a white man, due to the humorous context of the scene.
It’s an intersting book, btw, about the many historical contexts & meanings of the n-word.
I expect Kennedy & his book will be hauled into kangaroo court any day now.
