The Philadelphia District Attorneys Office says since late May, more than 550 burglary and looting arrests have been made.
We intend to vigorously prosecute, District Attorney Larry Krasner said. Some of these burglaries, at the most extreme end, involve things like burglarizing a gun shop and trying to go out the front with enormous quantities of guns. Some of them, on the other hand, are an 18-year-old whos never had contact with the criminal justice system before, not even an arrest, whos going in through a broken window and coming out with a T-shirt.
So we need to look at that array and we need to look at every one of those cases individually to understand the conduct and to understand who the person was. Whether this is a person who is fundamentally a criminal or if this is someone who got swept up and can be held accountable in a way that is constructive.
Krasner also says a younger suspect with no prior arrests may have to do community service and repay for the stolen items instead of facing jail time and a felony conviction.
Often victims are much more satisfied with a restorative justice approach, Krasner said.

uh huh.....
unless they are criminal illegals, murderers, seditionists,
democrats, slave owners, ... i am so redundant.
Larry Krasner...George Soros’s #itch.
I bet I know who funded his election campaign, Soros.
Soros stooge appointment
Soros went around the country buying D.A.!

Bull. Nearly everyone will be let off.
You’ll get your chance to wag your fingers and tell them that they were a bad boy.
Liberal justice.
He may “prosecute” them, but he will immediately make a recommendation that they all get probation and spend no time in jail.
The first time that any DA uttered the words we need to UNDERSTAND the criminal was the beginning of the breakdown of our Justice system. Eric Holder ran the US Just-Us system and it has metastasized to the rest of the country.
Unless there is EQUAL JUSTICE under the Law, there is no Law.
This is exactly why. This violent assault on America has been in the works for a very long time.
Rochester NY dodged a big bullet when they rejected the Soros minion for DA. He invested $800,000 on Shani Curry Mitchell for that election. There is no logical reason for him spending that money until the recent riots brought it into focus.
I thought he was buying future governors and senators. Now, we see what he was up too.
“Restorative Justice Approach”
Sounds like New York’s ‘Correctional Institutions’.
