The video the media doesn't want you to see. George Floyd resisting arrest for 3 minutes while officers attempt to get him in the back seat.
Which justifies subduing him, but not having Chauvin’s knee on his neck for 8 minutes and 46 seconds, with plenty of observers saying he was killing Floyd and Floyd telling him so as well.
Once again, it doesn’t matter what Mr. Floyd did before he was killed. It does not excuse what the police officers did.
I’ve been warning a lot of leftists that this could go the same way as the Rodney King beating trial. And that resulted in the infamous LA riots.
Its sad when you have to keep repeating an obvious point.
George Floyd may have been the match that ignited all this insurrection, but he has nothing to do with what is going on now. We have antifa in league with the democrats and the deep state to ether get rid of Trump, or burn the country down as we know it. The repubs and all of us are not even putting up a fight. Ether we fight back, or we deserve what is about to happen to us.
Oh oh
The media is a weapon used to advance the interests of the New York City powerful interests over that of "flyover country."
We need to understand it is a weapon and start treating it like it is a weapon.
We either need to seize it or break it. Either way, we need to deprive the enemy of it's use.
My understanding is that he was complaining that he “couldn’t breathe” long before anyone put a knee on him. And the autopsy says no physical injury was the cause of death.
And the knee to the neck was acceptable police procedure.
And the reason they were waiting was because they were waiting for an ambulance.
So, though it “looked like” the officer was killing him (and yes, it looked that way to me as well), that may not be what was actually happening.
The facts will come out in a court of law. But if this turns out like the Rodney King beating trial, there will be a lot of bad Juju going down afterward.
Just like they never showed the clips of Rodney King attacking the cops.
nce again, it doesnt matter what Mr. Floyd did before he was killed. It does not excuse what the police officers did.
And context really is EVERYTHING. i.e. what he did before they put the knee to him is absolutely relevant.
It is also sad when you have to keep pointing out that the knee in the neck isn't what killed Mr. Floyd. It was his heart condition along with a mixture of meth and fentanyl that killed Floyd.
All the protests are based on a deliberate distortion of the relevant facts. Same thing with Michael Brown. Same thing with Traevon Martin. Same thing with many of these cases.
Once again, it doesnt matter what Mr. Floyd did before he was killed. It does not excuse what the police officers did.
Correct, though it does affect which charges may that legitimately stick.
It does also go back to: dont physically fight with the police. Right or wrong, its generally a bad idea.
On the bright side, there will be no more talk of “reparations”...
Ive been warning a lot of leftists that this could go the same way as the Rodney King beating trial. And that resulted in the infamous LA riots.
1. The police officer apparently used a method of restraint which was authorized by his department.
2. What Floyd did before his arrest very much so will explain why such a harsh form of restraint was used.
I do not know the outcome of this, but I suspect his department and the political powers to be would love to make it about the police officer, sacrificing him on the alter, vs. making this an issue about the police department, or policing et al. and how things have gone sideways over the last decades.
No excuse for what that one bad cop did.
Once again, it doesnt matter what Mr. Floyd did before he was killed. It does not excuse what the police officers did.
Obviously, the “thug” was asking for that 3 minute beating while handcuffed and unconscious. Or something like that.
The more I learn about this fellow, the more I feel that he brought it on himself. I think the knee should have been removed when he lost consciousness, and CPR performed, but I don’t feel any more outrage. I’m certainly not interested in his beatification. Let the officers have their day in court, I’m done with it.
Too late. The damage has been done. The left took advantage of another crisis..
