The images of hair care products at Walmart are said to show items targeted at African American shoppers locked up behind a glass cabinet, while those more commonly advertised as being for white people's hair are left untouched.
He wrote: "It's more than just the police."
The pictures have sparked fury as many claim it is an example of bias against black people in their day-to-day lives.

One user said: "Damn. All the times I've walked past this at Walmart and never even put two and two together. Holy hell this makes me sad I've never recognized all the little things."
Another added: "The products that are locked and chained up are the ones that are specifically targeted at natural black hair; implication being that the store owners expect black people to steal hair products."
Others shared images including concealer being attached with electronic tags, and a shelf of hair dye where the only one in a theft-prevention case was the one with a black model on the front of the box.

Maybe it contains toxic substances that have to be kept under control. After all, wanting to get rid of the frizziness of ones hair, in order to look like white people probably needs ingredients similar to hydrochloric acid.
Why these are hair-raising allegations.
Helen Keller and Ray Charles can see the reason.
Angela Hall, 41, was driving away from a beauty supply store near 7th and Chestnut streets during rioting and looting on May 30 when she struck Officer Tony Nieves.
Those haircare products aren’t locked up at any of my local stores.
Btw, those products are overpriced. If a store locks anything up, it tends to lock up expensive things, like higher-priced cosmetics.
The same people who have no qualms about looting also have no qualms about shoplifting. The black hair care products experience so much “shrinkage” (a $5 word for stealing) that in order to afford to stock them, they have to be placed behind locked glass. I suspect that that same Walmart store has all of their cans of spray paint behind locked glass and when you check out if you cannot prove that you are over 17 you cannot buy the spray paint. Spray paint is a favorite item used to create graffiti wherever and some idiots sniff it. If Walmart is forced to remove the glass, then they may just decide not to sell those items. If so, it will create an opportunity for the opening of a black owned hair care supply business. It can be a win-win situation for everyone.
The concept of on-line shopping is obviously racist.
How can the people get their reparations if they are not available for looting?
They lock up the cartridge refills for mens' razors.
They lock up the cartridge refills for mens' razors.
The end result of this all this bitchin’ will be all kind of “white” items will be locked up as well.
Just like TSA strip searching Granny and babies to prove they’re not prejudiced to young Muslim males...
Just more PITA in our lives for diversity’s sake.
A black woman essentially did that in the 1920s and soon became a millionaire. Her company still exists today (not sure if the beautician school does by the hair products do).
They will be even more outraged when those same stores stop selling all of those products.
I imagine the products locked up are the ones with a history of disappearing
I think they may be stolen in large numbers because white women want to look like African American women.
Cold and allergy medication locked up behind the counter is total discrimination to meth heads.
Blacks seem to be utterly lacking in logic. They react to everything emotionally. It does not seem to occur to them that stores aren't locking up black products just to annoy blacks. It does not occur to them to direct their anger at their fellow blacks who steal. We need to stop pandering to people who are so emotional and childlike. If anything, they need tough love.

My local Walmart Market locked up all makeup and nail polish. One of the employees said they kept walking out of the store unpaid, yet, I have never seen hair products locked.
Some of them are - others are simply virtue-signaling indoctrinees.
