I got an email from my public library this morning, the Enoch Pratt library. They announced that they would have sidewalk service by appointment, and prominently displayed a link. I went to the link and was DISGUSTED to find the following statement. What does this have to do with libraries, books, or anything vaguely connected to learning? And, how can the library, a publicly funded entity, declare allegiance to an entity which is virulently anti-Israel, has ascribed to the the BDS movement?
Maybe all these outfits are doing this out of fear of being burned to the ground....LOL

I suggest that you contact them to indicate that you don’t feel they should make any such public statements, since they are supported by taxes. Then contact the city council, mayor’s office, and/or whatever entity would be involved in setting funding and policies for the library.

Ive been to the public library a few times. We call it the Homeless Hilton.
Because the gross, smelly homeless sleep there during the day, use the internet for crap, and use it to plug in their obama phones while harassing sane people who actually use the library..

I vowed never to set foot again in my public library when they did a drag queen story hour (against the wishes of many users).
You have to realize that most librarians are left wing idiots - or too intimidated to raise their voices - and their professional organization, the ALA, has become nothing but leftist activism being paid for with member dues.
