I suggest that you contact them to indicate that you don’t feel they should make any such public statements, since they are supported by taxes. Then contact the city council, mayor’s office, and/or whatever entity would be involved in setting funding and policies for the library.
Vote for candidates who will abolish the library. You can get your library books online anyway.

Ive been to the public library a few times. We call it the Homeless Hilton.
Because the gross, smelly homeless sleep there during the day, use the internet for crap, and use it to plug in their obama phones while harassing sane people who actually use the library..
