Shocking video shows the moment several New York police officers brutally beat a cyclist who they had been riding slowly during a Black Lives Matter protest in Brooklyn.
Pierce McCaffrey had been participating in a solidarity ride during George Floyd and Black Lives Matters protests along Nassau Street near Gold Street on Sunday at around 7.40pm when the altercation took place.
According to the victim and witnesses who filmed the wild scene, McCaffrey had only been riding slowly in an effort to keep demonstrators free from police aggression.
Footage shows a pack of officers pounce on the cyclist, with one throwing clear punches at McCaffrey's head.
A cameraman - Mike Hassell - can be heard telling McCaffrey not to resist arrest.
'They started tackling me to the ground, punched me, put my hands behind my back, handcuffed me and threw me into the car,' McCaffrey explained to Streetsblog.

Not only that, but how did this leftard know those cops weren’t responding to a murder or rape? He should be charged with impeding the police.
maybe he took a swing at the cops before the dude’s camera caught up with the scene-
he was also resisting arrest- running from the police when the camera first viewed him- It’ likely the coops jumped out of van to arrest him, he resisted, might taken a swing or assaulted cops somehow-
Who knows- we don’t have full video of entire incident- the police know they are being filmed, plus they themselves wear body cameras- so it’s very unlikely they just beat the crap out of him for the sheer fun of it- something likely happened to cause them all to aggressively take him down-
To bad they didn’t just run over his communist carcass.
Personally, if y’all ever see a video of me getting up in cops’ faces, grabbing at them and they stomp me into a bloody, sobbing puddle, do NOT feel sorry for me.

Having had my car assaulted by a mob of critical massholes riding their bicycles one night (drunk no less) I’m not very sympathetic to Leftist bicycle riders who get in traffic and attack vehicles to begin with
I saw a photo and a video that confirm what you’re talking about another case.
The news photo showed two officers perhaps with Billy clubs raised at the man. The video shows the man charge from over 15 feet away at the officers (and connects/assaults) and the clubs were a response to being charged and attacked.
FU I am tired of these clips that the MSM and left have perfected to promote their narrative.
Then there is the black racist who strolls very slowly while crossing the street, holding up traffic. Oh, I forgot! Black people can't be racists. Sorry!
The police appear incredibly restrained to me. The should have shoved him into the curb and ran over his bike.
Just as was the case with Rodney King this video is worthless because it fails to tell...as Paul Harvey once put it...”the rest of the story”.
In most states there is no legal requirement for a bike to be in the bike lane. There is a legal requirement to move aside for an emergency vehicle with lights/sirens on.
What did that dumbass think was going to happen? He just got the ass whipping his parents should have given him years ago.....

What burns my ass is the rioters on the expressway. The signs clearly state no pedestrians allowed. I for one will not brake for fear of losing my life because the Police are not allowed to do their job because of Loony mayors. Hammer down..
