George Floyd had 11 ng of fentanyl in his blood. When terminal cancer patients die - usually unconscious - they average 12 ng. The average lethal dose of fentanyl for experienced users is 24 ng. I provide quotes about fentanyl from three forensic experts who are speaking specifically about the Floyd case in Comment #1. By the way - the knee on the neck restraint has been used by the Minneapolis Police for decades. It is explicitly described in their Police Manual - "knee" link in Comment #1, also.
People who use it regularly or chronically develop tolerance to it, and the amount reported in the autopsy could kill someone who has not used the drug in the past, Goldberger said.
However, we dont know what Mr. Floyds use of fentanyl was, he stressed.

(2) Forensics expert at John Jay College of Criminal Justice Lawrence Kobilinsky...said defense lawyers could make a point of the amount of fentanyl in George Floyd's body. The NYT report said while the amount required to be lethal varies from person to person, fentanyl can stop a person's heart and breathing.
"It seems to me, it's high enough where a defense attorney would argue that this kind of predisposes him to heart failure, when you are on a drug like this," Kobilinsky said.

(3) Michael Baden [performed family requested autopsy] has acknowledged that the amount of fentanyl in George Floyd's body was "considerable," which would be particularly important if he had never used the drug before.
"He has enough that could be a cause of death if he had never had immunity or tolerance to the drug," Michael Baden said in the NYT report adding that "restraint is what caused the death."

(4) 5-311 USE OF NECK RESTRAINTS AND CHOKE HOLDS

This will never come out on the fake news channels.
nah the knee to the neck was what killed him.
The manual of the Minneapolis Police Department states that neck restraints and chokeholds are basically reserved for when an officer feels caught in a life-or-death situation. There was no apparent threat of that nature in Mr. Floyds detention.
The policeman should have known better.
Let’s face it . . .the riots were pre-planned and George’s death just happened to be the one they used to carry out the plan.
If Fentanyl were issued at a hospital by a real doctor, for a limited period, i wouldn’t say much. When its dosed up by Larry (your local deal whose biggest job in life was carpet cleaning), and he mixing with meth, and you gulp down five shots booze...your days are numbered.
"Choke Hold: Deadly force option. Defined as applying direct pressure on a persons trachea or airway (front of the neck), blocking or obstructing the airway (04/16/12)
"Neck Restraint: Non-deadly force option. Defined as compressing one or both sides of a persons neck with an arm or leg, without applying direct pressure to the trachea or airway (front of the neck). Only sworn employees who have received training from the MPD Training Unit are authorized to use neck restraints. The MPD authorizes two types of neck restraints: Conscious Neck Restraint and Unconscious Neck Restraint. (04/16/12)"
Even if they followed the use of force policy, there is still the issue of keeping pressure on his body and neck after he was unconscious, and not performing first aid until he was in the ambulance (IIRC). The fentanyl and methamphetamine in his system may have killed him anyway or later that day. Except how the police handled the first aid side of this did not help and made them look like they either killed him or were indifferent to his dying in front of them.
What a mess this is.
Sick.
Your evidence?
(Thats quite a charge to make in a public forum.)
The meth that Floyd was on, caused his heart to race and increased his already high blood pressure. With COVID-19, his lungs were compromised for their intake of oxygen. Fentanyl further compromised his lungs by depressing his ability to breathe. By restricting the blood flow in the carotid artery, the minimal oxygen his lungs were providing could not get into the brain. This stopped his breathing and his racing heart was cooked.
Will the jury hear the real cause?
And you get it...
George Floyd Autopsy Report:
Cause of death - cardiopulmonary arrest
Fentanyl causes death by suppressing breathing - also known as “pulmonary arrest.”
It’s entirely possible in addition to his overall health condition.
To me it is amazing, and maybe shouldn’t be, but almost every single one of these cases devolve from what it was originally presented to be. People who doubt the power of the press and those working to undermine and destroy this nation only need look around.
Do a quick search. These are not spontaneous protests.
“People who use it regularly or chronically develop tolerance to it,”
I would guess Floyd fell in to this category.
Don’t know. Pull your focus back. Refocus.
Bringing historical references to now...today...consider this...
This Sunday show is incredible.
Oops I meant to say spontaneous riots.
NO matter what, the knee to the neck was unacceptable when he was already restrained and on the ground.
I believe you are correct sir. Some even say that Floyd was deliberately executed, to give them the excuse to riot. I dont know, and we will never know for sure, but I agree, it was planned.
Best guess based on the facts as we know them now, the trial will evolve into a battle of experts. The prosecution will still have to prove that their expert is right beyond a reasonable doubt because they still have to prove cause of death.
This will never come out on the fake news channels.
The Zimmerman/Travon Martin case if nothing else, proves that the facts as litigated in court might ultimately catch up to the fake news, but too late, leaving the jury trial a verdict little more than an historical afterthought.
The fate of the officers in this trial will be but a footnote when viewed in the context of nationwide rioting and the entire inversion of our culture. If the jury finds the officers innocent, not entirely impossible in view of the conflicting autopsy interpretations, that reality will be dealt with exactly as CNN dealt with Zimmerman's acquittal.
This is not a trial about guilt or innocence of the officers, this is an incident to determine the 2020 election. What impact will a mere autopsy report have on our new national obsession?
Princess Diana would be proud of us.
