We filed electronically and it came within a week or two.
Yes. Couldn’t file electronically due to a W-2 with zero taxable income (employee health benefit filing).
Yes. I will receive $0.0 COVID-19 stimulus bucks, which are actually a “tax credit” for 2020, but am due about $500 bucks for 2019, and I filed electronically in early February. Glad to know it’s not just me.
paper returns are being processed last. irs employees are mostly working from home and are working on electronic returns.
I already got mine because I went to the site and entered my banking info, but I got a form letter not long ago, signed by President Trump that the rest of the checks will be mailed shortly.
I mailed my paper return in early March, and still haven’t received my refund. I called the IRS yesterday, and after being in hold for 45 minutes, finally talked to a customer service rep. She said the center my return went to just opened back up June 1, and to give it another 6-8 weeks before they get to it.
Next time I guess I’ll have to file electronically.
My check equals my GPA: “Zero. Point. Zero.”
Go to the IRS website and put in your bank account info for direct deposit and if you are eligible they send it rather quickly. They had a page set up just for refund checks, I would think they still have it up and running.
Filed March 7, still waiting.
I have a sister who is an IRS goon, she says there is no one in their offices processing returns.
Mine was deposited to my bank account last Friday.
Thanks everybody glad to know i’m not the only one.
Maybe i should get interest on my wait....HAHAHA
Only kidding..
We got ours, but our 21 year old didnt get his yet. He filed in January and had his 2019 refund check sent to him by snail mail. I think that is what the holdup is. He did try to put bank info into the IRS website when it was allowed to do so, but the website wouldnt cooperate
Glad to read the responses on this thread that he isnt the only one waiting, and that hopefully his refund is only weeks away.
Yep, filed a paper return and am still waiting. Went to the IRS link that claims you can check on the status of your return and it says it can’t tell me.
We received ours last week.
Yes..
Will wait until my next SS maybe come in then???
I have an EIN though it all ties into my SS# and also have an ‘apostrophe’ in my name which does tend to screw up a lot of things.
Filed electronically at the end of February, still waiting on refund.
If you get a plain envelope, like we did about a week ago, with a return name & address, that reads:
Money Network Cardholder Services
PO Box 247022
Omaha, NE 68124-7022
DO NOT THROW IT AWAY.
I almost did, because it looks like junk mail.
It is your Stimulus Payment via a debit card.
Forbes has a good article on how to use it and avoid fees:
That is all.
Still waiting. Tried to e-file but kept getting an error. Ended up mailing a paper return in early March, but the IRS considered the people that process those to be “non-essential”. I suppose one of these days they’ll get around to it.
Some friends received a debit card, not a check. They thought it was a scam and threw it away.
